Yoshi and the Mysterious Book may look like another spin-off title, but it features new forms of gameplay. The unfolding levels and gameplay discovery are well worth it and it will please platformer fans as well as players open to experimenting within the genre. It boosts a ton of ideas and is far from just an easy kids' game this time.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined shows how to update the classical JRPG into the current era. There is undeniable well-working ecosystem at the core but thanks to new enhancements and graphics, it plays better than before. The amount of options will please many fans, even on repeated playthrough.

WoW: Midnight is very solid expansion and confirms the right decision to develop the Worldsoul Saga with right level of cohesion and continuity in the series. The housing system is welcome addition, new Prey system looks promising and nice UI changes will delight the players. But the greatest positive is the return to Azeroth and Silvermoon City rewamp along with Eversong Woods visits.

Housemarque strikes back with another thrilling expedition into the unknown. Saros is masterfully expanding studio's roguelike gameplay in the compelling world. The fast-bullet action, the sense of discovery and playing cycles stick to your mind. One of the best sci-fi voyages of the decade!

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is a solid entry with an interesting expansion. It patches some flaws from the past, but adds some new like different casting choices, animations, slighty different structure and side activities. But it also adds new additions and deepens relations within the series.

Nioh 3 is a culmination of fast-paced combat system of the series with beautiful and rich Japanese mythology full of different eras and yokai influence. The addition of Ninja combat style pushes Nioh further and open levels are providing players with new options. This is best of Team Ninja and already one of top videogames of 2026.

When Bravely Default launched, it was a very solid 3DS exclusive RPG with combat system taking a new approach. Its HD version show that this JRPG aged well and the better graphics enhances visual experience, astonishing atmosphere and great tactics. It is a double return ' to FF roots and its own start with perfect Brave & Default moves.

Pok'mon Legends: Z-A is an interesting spin-off fulfilling dream of some players ' what would happen if combat system turned real-time? It is more dynamic approach filled with a lot of options, vast Pok'dex, but partially limited to one location only. Lumiose City is interesting half-way through but is missing some richness of different regions. But somehow, Z-A could be attractive for new players thanks to different pace and some fresh ideas.

Kirby Air Riders is surprisingly catchy racing title with different modes, vast gameplay and nice selection of tracks & riders. Several main modes are bringing lot of quality content a different way of playing. But the fun is always here, content amount is very solid and Kirby with his crew are welcome especially in the multiplayer selection.

Age of Imprisonment is the third entry in Hyrule Warriors series and finally manages to cope with the hardware right. Fast-pace combat, great tactic elements, vast maps and interesting ways to discover the past of the world are taking all players beyond. There is some repetition as usual in the Musou genre, but overall package is satisfying and worth a play. For newbies maybe even more as for the series' veterans.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is perhaps the best version of the game possible. Konami tuned the graphics, added nice gameplay and quality-of-life additions. The graphics is stealing the focus and 3D audio is welcome. The best games tend to age very slowly ' this is another fine example.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land on Switch 2 features many audiovisual enhancements to original content and brings along interesting extra mode with smooth integration. The Switch 2 version is superior to base game and is the definitive edition with plenty of ideas and level design showcases.

Death Stranding 2 may not match the sales figures of its predecessor, nor recapture the magic of the original. However, it is a well-crafted sequel with expanded gameplay, new territories, a great plot, and lots of Metal Gear Solid elements waiting to be discovered after all these years.

This is not only a new IP and bunch of new ideas mixed with great gameplay, excellent characters and its world. It is Atlus epic spanning 100-120 hours touching the current world problems and becoming unique in their reflection and content.

It takes a while, but when The Brothership is in full swing, it is an excellent action RPG after all these years: exploration, arcade elements, tactical strategy and the mix of gameplay is top-notch. We are so glad that the Switch has its entry in the series.

It is one of a few games you'll enjoy without stress, pressure and will admire the creativity of Team Asobi.

The brand new Detective Club title brings very compelling plot luring players to discover murders and mystery. On the other hand, gaming options might be limited and linear for some adventurers ' if you come for the lengthy dialogues and investigation, you will like the outcome.
