9 / 10.0 - Valheim
Apr 12, 2021

Overall, Valheim is a fairly complete game even though it is still in early-access. It suffers from some of the normal bugs and glitches that you see in other early-access titles but it also has a lot of content that is wonderful and works well. It is a great group game if you have a bunch of friends who feel like building Norse villages and going raiding. You can get this on Steam right now. I can't wait for future updates.

Overall, R.B.I. Baseball 21 is a great game to play solo or with other people, even younger children. It is an easy-to-learn title that brings you real-world rosters so that you can play with the people you love from your chosen team.

9 / 10.0 - #Drive
Feb 24, 2021

Overall, #Drive is one of those feel-good runners where you just have to lose yourself to the gameplay and have a good time. Available now on the Nintendo Switch for $12.99 and available later on for android systems. My son and I enjoyed this title and we will continue to enjoy it trying to beat each other's records.

Overall, Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues hits home with me and I am sure it will hit home with the other lovers of the Karate Kid universe. The show on Netflix has been amazing and this game is amazing as well. The music and mechanics are great and give you a real feel for the 80's nostalgia trip. Currently, it is listed on the PlayStation Store, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch for $39.99 USD and on Steam for $19.99 USD. Crane-kick your way into this title.

Overall, I love the old-school feels of Black Ops in Cold War and I love the storyline. All of the modes are fun to play and offer a lot for old players and new players alike. It is fun to get back into the action with players from all consoles and on PC to make the action that much better with cross-play. There are some issues with multiplayer that will seemingly never go away but such is life for an online multiplayer game. COD Black Ops: Cold War is $59.99 USD and has been out for a little while now. If you haven't played it yet, well what are you waiting for it is so much fun!

7.5 / 10.0 - Airborne Kingdom
Jan 7, 2021

Overall, Airborne Kingdom is a new style city-builder aimed at the casual player who wants to just try and build the best floating kingdom that they can. This title is currently $19.99 USD but is normally $24.99 USD, so it is a fairly cheap pickup for a nice relaxed time playing a city-builder. Hours may fly by if you are into this kind of game, and I know I spent well over four hours my first time playing just to get used to everything.

Overall, my first impressions of this remaster is a good one and it just keeps getting better the more I play it. I have streamed it a couple of times not because tons of people have been watching but simply because I want to share my love for the game with others. It is normally $29.99 USD but is currently on sale on all platforms for $17.99 USD until December 14, 2020. Go get it if you want to have a good time with a racer.

Overall, WRC 9 is one of the most realistic racers that I have had the fortune of playing recently. It is full of great graphics and a level of realism I would want for many of my other games. Be careful as you drive down these back roads and paths as you race against the time of other drivers and have fun with it. It is available now for $49.99 USD and is purchasable on every major platform.

Overall, I give a lot of credit to Netmarble for a very good RPG especially since it was originally designed for mobile and then had to be changed up to meet the needs of the traditional console game. I have enjoyed playing it for hours on end and it is worth every penny of the $19.99 USD that is being charged for it on the Switch. It is simple to learn and play through and fun for anyone who likes RPGs.

8.5 / 10.0 - Iron Harvest
Sep 22, 2020

Overall, Iron Harvest 1920 is a solid title to buy and play. It is available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 right now for $49.99 USD. It gives you the story of a role-playing game with the fun factor of a AAA RTS title. Once you get past the length of the first few missions and into the meat of the story you will see just how big it can get.

It is pretty clear to me that Activision wanted to make the purest remaster that they could while still bringing the quality of life changes that everyone deserved in 2020. In my personal opinion, this is the best title of the year, especially with the fact that I can play it at a constant 60FPS with my 2700x and 2080 and it is as smooth as butter. There are fast load times and even smoother bail transitions which allow you to get right back into the action faster. For 40.00 USD you can't go wrong with two blockbuster games in one and we did purchase this one on our own to prove it.

8.5 / 10.0 - Maneater
May 27, 2020

Maneater is just the type of game a shark enthusiast, such as myself, has been waiting for. The sharks get their revenge on humans and other predators as it grows. The combat and swimming systems work very well, and mix well with the blood and gore that gives a realistic feel to the title. I loved most aspects of the game and the story and will enjoy playing it through to completion to reach the ultimate evolution. For $39.99 USD this is a very beautiful game about sharks and while some areas may lack fullness it is worth that price.

9 / 10.0 - DOOM Eternal
Mar 27, 2020

When it comes to first-person shooters, Doom Eternal is one of those games that you can get lost in. The combination of graphics, story, and intense action is enough to keep you playing for hours, pushing for “one more try” after a demon inevitably eats your lunch.

Overall, Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack is a trilogy that is worthy of a lot more time from me and I intend to give them more time soon. I have enjoyed every aspect of the games and the story has especially pulled me in. At $89.99 USD you can purchase the game on PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch, and you won't be disappointed. You get three games for a decent price. I hope you have fun playing.

Overall, it was a fun game for what it is. It is a basic train builder, with fairly simple controls and a huge canvas for you to take creative control over. For the low price of $19.99 USD, you can play the game as you wish, and you will have the chance to relive moments from building the train tracks from your youth.

8 / 10.0 - Bee Simulator
Nov 26, 2019

Overall, my experience with Bee Simulator has been very positive. As someone whose father owns bees, it was cool to see things from the inside of the hive. Flying around and see things from a bee's perspective was also a very cool thing to play out. The game is available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC for $39.99 USD.
