Worbital is one of those hidden gems on Steam that most people will not find unless they are looking for it. Really, that’s a shame. Its unique blend of RTS and trajectory gameplay provides an experience that most gamers will find challenging…and fun.
It is not a game as much as it is a tool. Clock Simulator allows for its players to battle themselves and find ultimate relaxation through rhythmic focus.
I was pleasantly surprised by this title. The idea of destroying diseases at a cellular level makes for a fun and exciting gaming experience. Bacterium combines both the simplicity of a hack n’ slash with the complexity of a nuanced RPG. The ethereal feeling of being within the human body feels claustrophobic, but also seems natural at the same time. This game is an excellent addition to any Steam catalog.
Fluffy Horde is a fun and creative title that will challenge you while making you laugh. It is a game that is not meant to be taken seriously, but it does provide a serious challenge. It does have some issues with tenuous gameplay and unit management, but those are only small oversites to the full game.
VRC Pro is a really fun game for both hobbyists and fans of the racing genre alike. Despite this game’s obscurity and specific fanbase, it really does have quite a bit to offer to players. The incredible amount of customization alone gives racing fans a chance to build the machine of their dreams for a fraction of the price of an actual build. If anything, this game is worth a try.
I wasn’t sure what to think about Pizza Titan Ultra at first, but after a while, I really warmed up to the title. This game is a deliberately absurd work of genius that allows people to drive a mech and beat the clock. With its own brand of humor, Pizza Titan Ultra is fun and engaging, and it provides a welcome challenge to anyone who is willing to take it on. With a few control issues holding it down, this game can potentially lack replay value, but that is only a minor issue.
As of now, I have logged in a little over 20 hours into this game and I plan on putting in much more. It is a fun game plays quite a bit like the original while still presenting players with a fresh experience as a standalone title. The maps and gameplay can be a little restrictive, but all of that is balanced out by the fast-paced gameplay and fun platforming mechanics.
As far as party games are concerned, Party Crashers fits quite nicely into anyone's collection.
Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse is a point-and-click adventure that harkens back to the great titles that inspired it. Its puzzles are challenging, and completing them gives the player a great sense of accomplishment. If you want a true gaming challenge that will stretch your mind and endurance, then this is the game for you.
Heavy Metal Machines is a MOBA unlike any other. It is a fast-paced, action-packed tribute to heavy metal in the best way. The over-the-top heavy metal aesthetic of this title bleeds into the gameplay seamlessly, and everything from the drivers to the arenas showcase this. I highly recommend this game to everyone, even if they're not a rocker!
Rigid Force Alpha is a truly fantastic bullet hell shooter. The breakneck action combined with beautiful 3D environments make this game both fun and challenging. The harsh knockback coupled with the limited amount of lives and continues allows for the player to progressively get better at playing the game. This a great "lunch break" title and I highly recommend it to everyone.
