This is as good as cooking games get. There is a breakneck flow and rhythm to everything players can do in this game that makes it a very nice simulation of how the food industry works behind the scenes and how tense every movement is in a professional food truck. This has the best parts of the previous Cook, Serve, Delicious titles and the addition of the tournament is the bombastic cherry on top.

The second part of The Uncertain series has enough going for it to make it a worthy sequel but some technical issues in sound and graphics departments and a couple of hateful companions stop it from achieving greater glory.

Projection: First Light has a simple core gameplay but has executed it very well with some challenging puzzles and a different and beautiful art style to make it a very good choice for anyone looking for a good puzzle/platformer title.

Mafia: Definitive Edition may be too short with today’s open world games standards to justify that price tag but it’s a full-on remake of one of the best gangster stories ever told in all forms of media. It has enough surprises for old fans and it’s modern enough for the newer generation of gamers to take a leap of faith and buy it.

When The Past Was Around is a short and quite cathartic experience about loss and letting go of the past by cherishing every memory we have made with our loved ones. The art style is one of the most beautiful ones in the world of video games and the music helps with the very much needed relaxed atmosphere a subject like grief needs.

As a true remaster Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning may be lacking a lot of things we expect when we hear that word but as a pure Action/RPG, this is still one the most intriguing titles of the genre with a deep lore for an original IP and one of the best combat systems of all time.

Bounty Battle's core fighting mechanics doesn't feel very satisfying and the lack of story mode for a cross over like this, makes it even more disappointing. The only part that the actually achieves something of value is the graphics and the visual design, it's just sad that the rest of the game didn't get as much attention and the whole potential of a Smash inspired game for indies feels totally wasted.

As a nostalgia trip for old fans of Captain Tsubasa and as an alternative for those who don't like the intricacies of modern sport titles, there is no other choice but this one but newcomers must be aware that this is an action/rpg/melodrama wrapped in a football package not just another sport video game.

Balance is the keyword here because WRC 9 is not so far out in the simulation side of racing genre that it becomes a chore to play and it also is not like an arcade-y title that gives you the feeling that the game is playing itself, everything just feels like how it should be and that factor makes this a good choice for both veteran racing game fans and the newcomers.

When Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles first came out, it felt like a new way to experience Final Fantasy's magic but after almost two decades, all its new ideas feel archaic and mostly not fun. The overall visual design and the music still feels great but this Remastered Edition needed more changes in the gameplay department to renew all those old feelings.

At first glance, Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars may look like a simple copy of older titles but the new mechanics that has been put over the classic formula has made a world of difference. From the visual standpoint, Immortal Realms may not be something to write home about but the world building and characters that populate that world makes this a great new franchise starter in one the oldest video game genres.

No Straight Roads reminds us that we may not like some of the other voices around us but silencing them actually makes us weaker, not stronger and it would be better for any society to let everyone play their own tunes. These ideas are presented in a one of a kind audio and visual package but the simplicity of gameplay stops this title to become a truly great achievement all-around.

More than feeling like a dog-lovers game, this feels like the ultimate hipster fantasy and the amount of enjoyment you get out of this title pretty much depends on how much you like these cliché ideas of how millennials feel superior by doing nothing of importance. There is a funny dog caring game in there but it feels mostly like an afterthought.

Griefhelm may not be the big knights focused video game to make these particular warrior’s fans very happy but it is a different approach to a setting that sometimes feel overdone. It uses a very beautiful minimalistic visual design and combines it with a great battle music that makes you feel like every hack and slash counts.

The short playtime and a little bit of Arachnophobia may stop some gamers to try this title but the level design and the amount of ridiculous power it gives players just to fight some spiders makes this a title well worth playing.

Most of the times, we don't expect much from licensed video games and that can be a good thing because it gives the product a chance to surprise us and that is exactly what happend with me and the new Fairy Tail game. I've never been a die hard fan of this franchise, either as a manga or anime, but the way this game told its story with pretty fun JRPG mechanics, kind of nudged me towards becoming a new fan. This title may not be big on new ideas but the way it uses all the old ideas in a way that has made a nice JRPG package based on a beloved franchise.

This is what this franchise has always been, the comedic bits are a little lacking this time around but adding the new Make part has made this one the best Rock of Ages game yet.
