Charlie Jackson's Reviews
While I don't have much pinball experience, Star Wars Pinball is easily my favorite game in the genre.
Knights and Bikes presents a superb adventure that will definitely stick with you for a long time.
Control is truly unforgettable with loads of ways to play, terrific acting, lots to explore, satisfying gunplay and abilities, and a spectacular world and story to experience.
Looking through my review notes felt like I was reading the journal of an increasingly depressed individual. There's amazing praise at first but that quickly turns to frustration, irritation, and even anger at times. With that said, I'd recommend Sea of Solitude for the school chapter alone. The entire adventure is also only a few hours long so thankfully, it won't overstay its welcome.
I wanted to enjoy Trüberbrook but mediocre frustrating gameplay can only be helped so much by amazing art.
In the end, at least Windscape's graphics are fairly snazzy and you get a super-cool shield to pair with your weapons when you craft them.
Overall, Fimbul is a mess.
There's a lot of good in Thea: The Awakening. Nearly every bit of text is voiced, it's cool being able to grow your group of people, handling combat head-on or simply selecting to auto-resolve is implemented well, and there's a great deal of customization.
The Adventures of Elena Temple is a quick little puzzle platformer assembled within a single dungeon to explore.
