Seth Cano's Reviews

Seth has been obsessed with gaming ever since the original Xbox and PlayStation 2. Seth is addicted to everything from your yearly Call of Duty game, looter shooters like Destiny & Borderlands, to Nintendo games like Splatoon 2 and Pokemon. Although, The Sims was the first game he truly ever got passionate about, on the PlayStation 2. Nowadays, you will find him obsessing over all things gaming on Twitter, gaming, or writing. He also looks forward to continuing to get to know everyone in the public relations/media industry. Seth also has an unusual obsession with both Starbucks and his cat Spencer. Seth's favorite games include: The Sims, Pokemon, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Borderlands, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Grand Theft Auto, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order.

Dec 31, 2019

Alien Isolation provides an utmost emotionally pulling experience, and runs flawlessly on the Nintendo Switch. The game truly is a testament to what can be done by third-party developers and porting studios.

I found myself pleasantly surprised by RICO, and see myself coming back to it for weeks to come. If you're a fan of either the Borderlands or Payday series, this game is a must try for you.

Much like its spin-off, Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland, is a great escape from reality, and an even greater entry in the Atelier franchise. Despite its localization issues, it is a great game all RPG fans must experience. With its enjoyable long-lasting content as a result of the new Alchemyriddle system, rewarding gameplay, and visually impressive art style, it is hard not to recommend this title.

9.5 / 10.0 - My Friend Pedro
Jul 3, 2019

Altogether, My Friend Pedro is a speedrunner's paradise, offering a charming story with good gunplay for its price tag. But if you are looking for pure replay value you won't find that here (unless you are a speedrunner).

Personally, I've always enjoyed a nice dialogue choice-based storytelling game, on the road! Another thing worth mentioning is: Many can find enjoyment in Dream Daddy, no matter the sexuality you possess — though depending on it, one might enjoy such more. Hence my scoring, as a genre enthusiast. I haven't played a meaningful dialogue selection game in awhile, so this was a refreshing change in pace.

Altogether, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 innovates upon the original titles, creating the first fully-rounded Ultimate Alliance title. The depth provided is welcomed, even if it did leave less time to polish synergy attacks and the camera controls. Whether you are looking for a Marvel game or just want a fully-fledged RPG, there is fun to be had with Ultimate Alliance 3.

While this game certainly isn't for all, what's provided is done so well and in such abundance that I recommend this game to anyone with a Switch and consent to play this kind of game. Not many other games on the Switch can compare in terms of customization, replayability, and sheer scale of its open world.
