Overall, Attack on Titan 2: The Final Battle makes significant improvements over its original release, but it still suffers from performance issues and has a niche target audience. With a steep retail price of US$59.99 this game is hard to recommend unless you are an Attack on Titan fan or just simply need another hack-and-slash RPG to play.

Overall, Youngblood is a welcome reinvention of the series, but lacks the personality of what makes a Wolfenstein game. Microtransactions aren't as bad they're made out, but it is still understandably going to impact each person differently. The extensive replay incentive and a charming, albeit short, story are appreciated. If you are a Wolfenstein enthusiast, this game definitely deserves at least one playthrough— just make sure you won't have any interruptions during your sessions.

The gameplay here is satisfying enough to feel like it was worth your hard-earned cash, although I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is looking for a game with all the elements of a modern day game–you will not find that here.

7 / 10.0 - Hue
Jun 6, 2019

Overall, if you are looking for a nice tale to dip your toes into and finish in one sitting, this game is for you. If you are looking for a game that you will delve into for a long while, well, you won't find that here. The game offers an indulging story of a mother's disappearance, but with a splash of color. It's gorgeous art style and meaningful mechanics make this game a worthwhile addition to all Switch libraries; that is, once a sale happens or more content is added.

7.5 / 10.0 - Unruly Heroes
Jun 4, 2019

Unruly Heroes is far from a bad game. In fact, it has some of my favorite platforming of recent memory, at least in terms of pure gameplay. It just lacks the polish needed for platformer completionists like me, and it's uncompelling story and music did not help. At least the developers are supporting it with content, despite it being months after its launch. If you are looking for an affordable platformer, this game is a must, but don't expect to be putting in the same hours as Yoshi's Crafted World.

It is a shame Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy doesn’t do anything special for today’s age of gaming, but everything that is done, is flawless.

Even though The Red Strings Club is in a pixelated genre which is oversaturated, the story all but makes up for it. I would recommend this despite its controls for anyone on a budget looking for a great story-telling game, and for all sci-fi/cyberpunk fans.

7.5 / 10.0 - Redout
May 29, 2019

Overall, Redout is an amazing racing game and by far the best anti-gravity one on Nintendo Switch. It offers simplistic but meaningful customization, diverse environments, and RPG-like mechanics that provide replay ability, all without sacrificing performance for the most part

Hypercharge: Unboxed is a fun and unique addition to the small library of shooters already on the Nintendo Switch. Digital Cybercherries' debut title on the platform offers fun and addictive wave-based shooter gameplay for all ages. With the game's cute art style and smooth performance, it is hard to go wrong with picking up a content-filled game like this. Especially one that has a lower than usual price-tag of $19.99.

Despite the small target-audience and poor camera controls in docked mode, Construction Simulator 2 exceeded my expectations. The game offers high replay incentive, no performance issues, and a lot of depth, especially for the price. It is also a newbie-friendly game if you aren't too experienced in simulation titles. Even if construction isn't your forte, it's hard not to recommend picking this title up if you like the genre.

When compared with the plentiful amount of action-RPGs already on the Nintendo Switch Torchlight II can seem like a bit of an afterthought. But while its story has a poor endgame, it offers a cute aesthetic with plenty of charm. Panic Button has done a great job once again with porting, and those new to the genre will find plenty to entertain at a fair price.

Overall, Morphies Law: Remorphed is a very good game. True, the hyper-focused nature leads to a lack of diversity, which means earning cosmetics might be less of a replay incentive than hoped. But it is still a joy to look at, and the fixed netcode issues of the original game fully round out the experience in the process. A bit of fine-tuning with progression would be beneficial, but if you're looking for another shooter on Switch, this should definitely be considered!

Overall, Stranger Things 3: The Game is a nice addition to the Nintendo Switch library of games, and fills the void of good, inexpensive beat- 'em-up games that were previously missing on the platform. That being said, the game was designed with hardcore fans of the series in-mind, which will differentiate it's value to some. As mentioned previously, it does emphasize a lot of fanfare, but its beat-'em-up combat is some of the best on the Switch, making it a must-own for any beat-'em-up fan.

8 / 10.0 - OTTTD

The game's RPG mechanics, unique art style, and variety in towers, enemy types, and weapons, make for a satisfying tower-defence experience. OTTTD is a must-buy for fans of the genre.

If you are looking for a stealth game of any sort, or are considering getting into Assassin’s Creed, this game is a must buy. Despite the few issues like unnoticeable graphical improvements and a slow beginning, Assassin’s Creed III Remastered features solid gameplay and a story underneath its surface that more than quantifies the investment.

Overall, Clue: The Classic Mystery Game is a loveable take on the classic board game, and the best rendition of the murder mystery to-date, but suffers from some issues on the user-experience-end when looked at obliquely. Despite suffering from some issues of the user-experience end, Clue: The Classic Mystery Game is a lovable take on the classic board game, and one of the best renditions of the murder mystery to date. With new DLC, there's never been a better time to check it out on Nintendo Switch!

Overall, Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered, feels like a unique addition to the Nintendo Switch library, and one executed well. That said, if destruction isn't your playstyle, this may not be the game for you. But if you are into any action or open-world games, I'd highly suggest taking a look at this port. Though, from what I've seen, this game doesn't add anything new from its original release. So, it may not be worth the playthrough for someone familiar with the title already.

Despite the game's bugs, The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle is a welcome surprise that surpassed my expectations. Even if you're like me and the idea of off-the-grid living doesn't interest you, there's still enough in this pack that makes it worth a look - just don't expect as much replayability as The Sims 4: Seasons.
