Life is Strange: True Colors does not bring anything particularly novel to the saga. In fact, we could even say that at the decision level the level is quite low with respect to DONTNOD deliveries. But if that doesn't bother you and you are a fan of the saga, then it can be interesting to explore Haven Springs and meet the inhabitants that live there.

80 / 100 - King's Bounty II
Aug 23, 2021

A new King's Bounty arrives with several important changes over previous titles, but keeping much of the essence. An adventure that tries to get closer to other titles such as Dragon Age or The Witcher, but maintaining those combats so characteristic that have made the saga a cult franchise over the last 30 years.

Amplitude has pulled a worthy Civilization competitor up its sleeve. It has its drawbacks, but it certainly also has enough of a personality of its own to take on Firaxis' game on its own turf. The choice of civilization in each era, and the simultaneous turns are huge additions.

War Solution - Casual Math Game is a good game of mental calculations that will force you to rack your brain, although its difficulty could have had a higher ceiling. For less than two euros, it is practically a gift if we are interested in this type of games.

Chess Knights: Viking Lands is not a bad game, very much in the line of those already released by Minimol. The problem is that this time they have not been able to adapt the controls to the Nintendo Switch pad in a minimally acceptable way, and that makes the game lose many integers. A pity, because, as always, it is an interesting puzzle game at a good price.

Alex Kidd returns in a great remake that will delight fans of the original game, although perhaps his control will make him ugly compared to those who enter new. His main flaws come when he has tried to put the artistic before the functional, with elements that prevent a correct visualization of what we have in front of, or melodies that are too far from the original work. Still, if you enjoyed the adventures of the onigiris little monkey-eating boy in SEGA's 8bits, you MUST buy this remake.

Episode INTERmission is a great letter of introduction for Yuffie and the skills she will have -we assume- in episode 2 of this great project that is the remake of Final Fantasy VII. She will make a great pair with Sonon, both narratively and playably. Unfortunately, part of the expansion feels a bit of unnecessary padding, and it wouldn't be bad to let us control Yuffie's friend. Still, remarkable content that if we're fans of the Remake, we'll enjoy.

80 / 100 - Chivalry 2
Jun 11, 2021

Chivalry II is a great game. With a fun gameplay, we will really feel inside a massive medieval battle. Too bad the game modes seem scarce or that we miss more maps for the secondary modes. But even so, if it catches our attention, it is a must.

Buccaneers isn't a bad expansion, but it doesn't add much more than what the game itself already does. The pirate-themed missions and objectives do change the feel of the game, but beyond that we won't do anything we couldn't do in the original game if we wanted to set limits. Although for the price it has, less than 4€, it can be an interesting addition.

A good expansion that will offer a few more hours of gameplay to those who have found Iron Harvest short. A new faction and a new campaign for this one with the same quality as the previous ones are its presentation cards. It is a pity that there is not much innovation in terms of units, adding, of course, the air units, which are not a major change -although they are noticeable-.

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD Remaster is a good set-up for a game that was already good in its time but never reached a particularly wide audience. With HD graphics, and a good translation, he hopes to expand the Megaten market, but remember that this is not a remake, it is a remaster, and the graphics and animations remain what they are. In addition, it is still a difficult game and already at the time with generic-style dungeons. Still, it is a remarkable game, highly recommended for JRPG and dungeon crawler lovers.

70 / 100 - Base One
May 11, 2021

Base One is a remarkable game where some design decisions -especially at the interface level- somewhat questionable and dozens of bugs, at least in the preliminary version, prevent it from reaching a higher grade. But it has some cool ideas and if it has developer support it can be a great game in the long run.

90 / 100 - Returnal
May 7, 2021

Returnal is a great mix between roguelite and metroidvania. With an exquisite gunplay and some very funny confrontations where mobility will be key, it may penalize you that your levels are excessively high for what games of the genre are used to. Still, a fully recommended title that. In addition, it will be remembered as the first to squeeze the PS5 hardware, specifically speaking of the SSD and the Dual Sense. The new generation is here.

Metro Exodus is a great game that provides a more than satisfactory ending for those of us who already have several games -and books- enjoying the adventures of Artyom, perhaps with some drawbacks in its open world concept that makes the game not reach excellence , but getting pretty close. This Enhanced Edition also takes the game to the next technical level, with practically a generation of difference according to which sections compared to the version of two years ago. And let's remember: this is a totally free update for game owners.

80 / 100 - Judgment
Apr 22, 2021

Perhaps it is not an especially remarkable version for the new generation. Beyond the resolution itself, the 60 frames per second and some improved lighting touch, it does not seem that much care has been put into showing that we are facing a different generation from that of its version of PlayStation 4, although where else we will notice the improvement is in the loading times. We miss that they have tried to take advantage of the possibilities of Dual Sense, for example. Still, in itself, Judgment is a great game, essential if we are fans of the Yakuza saga or good stories while we beat left and right.

75 / 100 - Colorgrid
Apr 13, 2021

Colorgrid is a game totally in the line of Minimol Games. Good presentation, interesting mechanics and a proper progression of levels in a game that tries to experiment with new mechanics and that, with its price, is very interesting when deciding what to spend our next three hours of gameplay on. If you like puzzles, check it out.

Endzone: A World Apart doesn't offer anything new that hasn't been seen already in terms of management gameplay. If I wanted to describe it quickly, it's an apocalyptic-themed Banished. And this is not bad either. If we overcome some design flaws and a possible lack of variety, we have a title with a remarkable base that can offer us many hours of play.

Spacebase Startopia is a remarkable game and a good successor to the 2001 version. But perhaps it lacks dynamism in its games, where we will spend many minutes throughout the game just waiting for the objectives of the level to be completed. But whoever wants to find a game with a good sense of humor, challenging on several occasions and with a campaign of several hours, can calmly enter the Startopia space station.

80 / 100 - Gnosia
Mar 18, 2021

Gnosia is a bit like throwing Among Us and the narrative part of 999 into a shaker. Without decisions and choices, our task will be to survive and make the characters that interest us in each loop survive in an interesting debate mechanic to find the "traitors" that can become repetitive in the long run. Still, the story will make us want to move on to find out what is behind the Gnosia, and that time loop in which we are trapped.
