Thanks to the depth of its battle system (the boss fights are pretty spectacular!) and you can build your characters, Granblue Fantasy: Relink is a pleasant surprise for action RPG lovers.

Zenless Zone Zero is another center for Hoyoverse, which has managed to create a free-to-play with a simple but not at all monotonous combat system. The variety of characters and actions at our disposal makes every fight fun to play and spectacular to look at, thanks also to a truly incredible technical and artistic sector for a free game.

Super Meat Boy Forever is an unforgiving 2D platform for hardcore gamers, but it lacks that sense of innovation that the original one brought to the table.

Despite a balance far from perfect, Skul is genuinely fun and it's an interesting take on rogue-lites.

A fun little gem for retrogames' lovers. It still has something to improve on Switch, both on the technical and the difficulty side, but it plays like a breath of nostalgia for long-time fans of shoot'em ups.

Despite some flaws, like an improvable storytelling, One Piece Odyssey surely is the best One Piece game to date, even if the bar set by previous entries was pretty low to begin with.

Horizon: Call of the Mountain is an interesting experience that shows the potential of PS VR2 extremely well. Despite so, its combat system is way more intriguing and compelling than its exploration based on climbing – and yes, you can expect to climb a lot here.

Iron Meat is a game that draws inspiration from the great classics of the run-and-gun genre, offering a version as faithful as possible to its predecessors. However, it adds modern touches to make it more accessible to today's players. Fast-paced, brutal, and featuring well-crafted pixel art, this title is sure to please fans of the genre. The only major drawback is the lack of content to keep players engaged once the main campaign is over, as there are no extras included.

Despite some technical flaws on Nintendo Switch, Another Crab's Treasure is a fun and engaging soulslike, that feels like something fresh (and well-written story-wise!).

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind is a nice nostalgic beat'em up, which manages to fully capture the atmosphere of the original show. It is not a game up to TMNT: Shredder's Revenge or Street of Rage 4, currently the benchmarks in the classic scrolling beat 'em up genre, but its variety of levels and simple and fun gameplay, especially thanks to the heterogeneity of enemies, make it very enjoyable, especially in company.
