Critic Reviews for Iron Meat
Iron Meat is an amazing Contra-like that does some things better than the game it is impersonating. I cannot recommend this title enough for fans of that style. It has a rocking soundtrack, outstanding visuals, and perfect controls. Now if you will excuse me, I have some more meat to grind.
Iron Meat is a game that draws inspiration from the great classics of the run-and-gun genre, offering a version as faithful as possible to its predecessors. However, it adds modern touches to make it more accessible to today's players. Fast-paced, brutal, and featuring well-crafted pixel art, this title is sure to please fans of the genre. The only major drawback is the lack of content to keep players engaged once the main campaign is over, as there are no extras included.

Even with a short running time and a lack of special set-pieces, Iron Meat does justice to the genre, not to mention its own on-the-nose name.
If you're a fan of run-and-gun shooters, Iron Meat is a must-have thanks to its responsive controls and excellently-designed stages. A genuine blast from beginning to end, it's just a shame there aren't more modes.
A very successful attempt to make an action game in the spirit of Contra series. A fun experience that ends too quickly, but leaves a great lasting impression.

If you enjoy Contra then you'll love Iron Meat as it's one of the best adaptations of classic run 'n' gun gaming I've ever played.
Iron Meat will appeal to die-hard fans of this genre who are looking for a nostalgic yet fresh challenge. However, this is a game that doesn't hold back, and not everyone will embrace its ruthless nature.

Iron Meat slams onto the scene as a gory, pulse-pounding homage to classic run-and-gun shooters. With its unique biomass-infested world, mind-blowing pixel art, and killer soundtrack, it's a feast for the senses that'll have retro fans salivating.
