9 / 10.0 - Hogwarts Legacy
Mar 30, 2023

Hogwarts Legacy manages to combine several elements present in RPG titles and action games almost perfectly. One of his greatest successes is to explore very well the material on which he is inspired. Experiencing the wizarding world from the point of view of a character created by you is something unique. It follows the same formula already seen in its combat, mixing the best in today's action games in a comfortable way for casual players. As much as the title lacks in its main campaign and repeats certain narrative clichés, it is definitely the game that every Harry Potter fan and I have always wanted.

7.5 / 10.0 - The Chant
Nov 12, 2022

The Chant is another one of those games that don't reinvent, but entertain. Its plot brings something different from what we have seen in the horror genre lately. There's no such thing as haunted mansions, teenagers being idiots, or grandiose enemies here. The focus of the production is to bring a different story accompanied by some supernatural elements. Because it was being sold as a horror game, I found it weak in this aspect. I recommend it for those who don't like blood, violence or being scared. It is somewhat friendly to those who are no longer familiar with the horror genre.

7.5 / 10.0 - Scorn
Oct 27, 2022

Scorn is a gift for fans of the biopunk subgenre and a surprise for those who have never had contact with works of the kind. It offers a contemplative experience of the universe presented there, which is as significant as its name.

8.5 / 10.0 - The Quarry
Jun 26, 2022

If you're willing to embark on a straight-forward and thought-provoking horror story, with captivating characters, horror movie clichés, tough choices and lots of gore, The Quarry is this game.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong could have been an excellent game. It has great art direction and graphics for what it proposes, but the predictable plot and confusing gameplay can lead players uninitiated into the Vampire universe to quit. Puzzles and investigation moments, despite being the high point, could have been better. With all that in mind, if you are a true fan of the Vampire: The Masquerade universe, it's worth giving it a try, as it was made for you.

8 / 10.0 - Just Dance 2022
Nov 16, 2021

The title has surprised me brining a good music list with what were the conventional choreographies from past editions, but it lacks something more. The franchise seems to be entering a new stage, exploring choreographies with movement capture, 3D animation and stop-motion. All of those are well done and are likely to return in future games. But, just as I said in the Just Dance 2021 review, having good music and choreographies is not enough to make a good game. The menus and modes are neglected in a worrying way. It was disappointing to see the same menu [from the last edition] and the lack of additions or changes in the modes available.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is the definitive edition of the first installment of the PlayStation One classic reimagining for the next generation. It has graphics and performance improvements, new features (such as photo mode) , as well as an additional complement to its incredible storytelling. Now we can only wait for what will come in the future of the franchise.

I usualy don't play multiplayer titles, but from what I was exposed to, Destruction AllStars fulfills its proposal very well and offers lots of fun. However, everything here is momentary, online games are made to keep players loyal to them and if the "magic" ends, the player leaves and moves on to another title. The question is whether the game will have a future, at the moment it has potential, but without new content it can be forgotten.

7 / 10.0 - Just Dance 2021
Dec 9, 2020

Just Dance 2021 is a title with good music and choreography, but fails to introduce new content to longtime fans of the franchise and looks more like a service disguised as a game. I hope that the lack of news in the title was a reflection of the moment we are living in, as the new coronavirus pandemic ended up delaying and affecting the development of several games. Maybe Just Dance 2022 might surprise us — there is no doubt that a new game will be developed.
