It’s about time that Deathsmiles I・II had made a comeback. These titles have had one of the highest reputations in the bullet hell genre but their marketing wasn’t really up to par at the time. It’s also a great title to make your entry into this specific genre. Once beating the AI enemies become the norm, you’ll have endless enjoyment in getting the highest score possible as well as comparing your skills with other players around the world. Even if you think you’re not that into bullet hell style of gaming, the amount of consideration that this game pours over the players is something that you’d feel appreciated.

Capcom Fighting Collection is the perfect fit for those who still reminisce about the classic arcade days and want to battle it out once again like the good old days. Some of the old bugs that annoyed Hyper Street Fighter 2 are fixed while the match making environment has become more fluid. The EX option allows players to pick secret characters as well. Red Earth becoming available to be ported to home platform was a first since its release in 26 years and 10 other great titles which may have existed behind the shadows of the big names, but that’s what makes it better since Capom realizes that these titles need some extra love among their heavy hitters.

The gameplay elements somehow feels repetitive but the visuals and story keeps the player intact until the end. One biggest flaw is the unstable frame drops and minor glitches that happen along the progression which we hope that it’s something that can be fixed with an optimization patch in the near future. If Sony had put in thought and ambition for this game to be their one of the important promotion titles, they should have considered these technicalities before releasing to the public. The gamers who play these so called ‘major promotion title games’ should have a better experience than the gamers who play these games at a much later date with patches and bug fixes since the original release.

The developers have implemented the feedback from loyal fans as they were requesting easier to manage UI rather than specific and detailed controls, due to their decay of reflexes. This had also welcomed some new gamers to this game as a great introductory title of tactical simulation genre. The downside was the constant 'dice roll' features in the game, which may scare away the core fans of simulation games.

Machi Knights: Blood Bagos kept their objective of the game to be the most simple as it could be. When players fail in their respective combat, the game will show you why you failed. There are scenarios in battle which tests the player’s reflexes and reactions also their ability to memorize complex patterns. You can somewhat enjoy around 10 hours of gameplay. Sadly there are no additional rewards from playing the same levels over and over.

TT isle of man 2 might not stand out from other similar titles or satisfy the speedsters who expect an arcade style racing game but the sequel has definitely been improved from the original. TT series games can actually let you experience how much of a realistic and dangerous motor racing it could be by the fantastic visual and audio effects when you've hit top speed. Career mode will give you the closest experience of being a competitive racer and most motorbike enthusiats will appreciate the detail the game has implemented.

It's a casual fishing game for those who were looking forward to a simulator like experience. Fishing gurus might be a little dissapointed for lack of realism but Fishing Star World Tour excels at the tug-o-war process between the player and the fishing line struggle. The production quality may lack a bit of tension but most of the visuals are straight forward with showing fishing points and other environments. The most fisherman-like experience would be when you hold the Joycon controller like a fishing rod.

Bleeding Edge has the typical multiplayer fun that's built-in by default. Wide range of playable characters allow the gamers to spend plenty of time in theory-crafting their strategies. On the other hand, the depth of the lore doesn't really attach those characters to the back story as much. The game has an innteresting mix of genres which involves aqua motorsports and shooting action. Kandagawa Jet Girls tries to push this unbalanced mixture all while allowing the gamers to fully customize their characters and their 'Jets' till their hearts desire. Variety of different modes somewhat allows this overwhelming experiment into a bucket of creative ideas, which at least provides some much needed gameplay hours.

Bookbound Brigade has a unique lore which includes some sense of humor which originates from Italy. The overall games development environment has evolved into something completely different since the early 2000s. Even with the industry being vastly revamped throughout time, the developers of R-Type Final 2 had made sure that they keep their core design without having to surrender to any uncertainties they might face when being developed for the modern consoles. Big Bang Pro Wrestling can be played with two action buttons combined with any of the four directions. These button combinations bring back the styles of a retro video game. Story is as simple as a hero trying to fight their way to become a champion and grasp the champion belt in the end. There’s really no need to read through the instruction manuals as the game is designed to be simple and includes some exquisite characters with unique personalities. It's a decent game to meet with friends and probably last about a couple of hours of entertainment.

This is an optimized home port of the original, which now supports stereo music, stage selection and especially allowing up to 99 credits which provides a much flexible accessibility. It’s the highest priced game developed by City Connection but still shows some parts where the sound cuts off but, you’ll still get to experience the 2D sprites by Taito of the classic era, using the lock on lasers to play in your own difficulty and such. It’s also the first Rayforce game with an official online leaderboard, which makes it even special than it is.

We could tell that the developers definitely focused on aiming for the niche genre. The main structure of the game is strictly designed based on the keyboard typing mechanism, where the players can adjust the difficulty as they progress. Needless to say, they weren’t over extending when they chose the concept of the game’s promotion to look like educational material. Few nitpicks involve inconsistent frame drops, error on recognizing certain Korean key inputs and minor glitch appearances from few interactions. Panzer Dragoon: Remake has made its revival for its hardcore fans. We may not get to experience the same hype when the original was released, but definitely carries the volume to provide another run down the emotional hype train. Code Shifter is a simple action genre which has some cameo appearance from other ArcSystem Works characters. If you're not sure of the original source of the game, it will take some time to absord all the insider quotes. Prepare for some utter confusion if you play this without much preparation.
