Valley of the Dead: MalnaZidos is one of the worst experiences I ever had with videogames. The gameplay is bad in every possible way, the story is badly told, and the bugs make the experience unbearable. The few qualities [the game has] are the cutscenes and the possibility to see different points-of-view to the story through the perspective of other characters — which is also underexplored. If you're interested in the plot, it'd be better to invest yourself into one of the other [MalnaZidos] media available.

FAIRY TAIL: Beach Volleyball Havoc errs especially in not offering more robust content to the players. Having only the quick match mode and lacking more depth in its mechanics will definitely leave it [restricted] to the casual side. Even so, it's way too simple even for that kind of game. Not even the Fairy Tail IP is well explored, as we only have the characters in swimsuits and theme magics. This leads to a completely uninteresting single player mode, as matches quickly become repetitive and it stops being fun. With at least one friend at your side, things change a little, as matches feel less robotic and more exciting. As it also has a low price[...], I believe it may be worth it only if you have a sibling or friend to play with frequently.

Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story 2 manages to present two opposite sides when it comes to quality. On the administration side, the title has a good challenge and diverse possibilities to manage and plan the studies of the future heroes. On the RPG one, it fails to present any attractive content, delivering tedious and monotone moments. Despite its qualities, it's hard to recommend it due to how many hours it takes to explore its bland scenery and to overcome the repetitive battles.

5 / 10.0 - Soccer Story
Dec 7, 2022

With a little more care, Soccer Story could fight among the big teams and stand out among the other games; however, it is just a supporting player among the rest.

I won't deny that I had fun with HEAVEN SEEKER —— The Savior of This Cruel World, especially due to its frantic combat. The great variety of skills and the possibility to combine them in various ways helps bring a little novelty in each run. However, the little care put into the story, the stage design and the enemy variety bothered me too much, as the feeling of repetition came in every single run. For that reason, I believe it's only recommended for players who love to suffer with tough games and do not care much for an elaborate story.

5.5 / 10.0 - Arto
May 2, 2023

Arto even has good qualities, but it will hardly be a hack and slash that will stand out in the market. The mixture of artistic styles and the good use of colors calls attention for its quality and diversity, as well as its combat, which, even though it is simple, offers a good variety of movements. Its problems, however, weigh significantly, since they directly interfere with combat and exploration, things that you will do practically at all times.

5.5 / 10.0 - Jin Conception
May 29, 2021

Jin Conception is certainly a whirlwind of feelings. While the combat is very well done and the mechanics of social deduction instigates curiosity, the numerous bugs and wrong decisions in the game design make it tiring, frustrating and disappointing. There is a potential hidden in the midst of the problems that appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel. At the moment, it is just an RPG that delivers an experience of the nostalgic games of the 16-bit era, but in a mediocre way.

For a management game, Train Valley World leaves [much] to be desired at many points, especially in the way it demands planning from the player. Even with a good amount of trains and mission variety, the lack of a solid challenge makes it seem like a game for beginners that don't want to suffer with a lack of money during the gameplay.

The Mobius Machine has some well executed ideas. The exploration is fun thanks to the available skills that modify our movement considerable. Besides that, the secrets, such as secret rooms and upgrade diagrams, motivate navigating through the world, even if it doesn't take us to the final goal directly. However, the combat leaves a lot to be desired. The variety of projectiles is unappealing and do not help diversify clashes, and there's little variety to enemies — And when there is some [graphical difference], they use attack and movement patterns identical to others. Even so, I still believe it's worth recommending it to those who love challenging exploration and won't be bothered by these issues.

6 / 10.0 - Spells & Secrets
Nov 17, 2023

Despite having some qualities, Spell & Secrets suffers from the problem of repetitiveness common in roguelike games and does not present many alternatives to overcome it. Its story is uninteresting, making it seem like a generic copy of Harry Potter, and its challenges are not very diverse, making it quickly dull and predictable. However, the spell options manage to ensure a bit of quality to the gameplay, allowing different approaches to combat, as well as multiplayer, which makes it more dynamic and fun. In this case, I believe that Spells & Secrets can be recommended if you have a friend to play with you.

6.5 / 10.0 - Islands & Trains
May 28, 2025

Even though it's not a revolutionary game, Islands & Trains has many strengths that can attract casual players. Its simple gameplay and cozy atmosphere offer a sense of relief and fun after a long, tiring day. Many of its limitations could be addressed through updates, and I hope they happen so the game doesn't quickly fade into obscurity.

6.5 / 10.0 - Anomaly Collapse
Apr 12, 2024

Anomaly Collapse brings good ideas to turn-based tactical combat by using different positioning components in a unidimensional grid. Even though, at times, battles can be confusing due to visual pollution, there's an interesting idea here that could be improved upon in future games from the developer. The roguelike elements complement the adventure well, bringing various items that change the combat dynamics in a significant way, even if not in an innovative way. The absence of an impactful story and the generic backgrounds make it less attractive, with the combat as the only element that stands out effectively. If the lack of a Portuguese localization isn't an issue, I think the qualities justify tactical combat fans to keep an eye on it.

6.5 / 10.0 - WrestleQuest
Sep 12, 2023

In the end, I believe the balance is positive, especially due to the characters' charisma and the diverse customization elements for the combat. If there's an update fixing the issues, it's a definite recommendation.

WHALIEN - Unexpected Guests has a proposal that may not please the most demanding players. It's a short game with simple and creative challenges, but it suffers from boring and problematic platforming sections. The physics-based puzzles are the highlight of the title and the characters and settings help make them more attractive. Overall, it's a good recommendation for kids who are starting to venture into the gaming world.

6.5 / 10.0 - The Outbound Ghost
Sep 29, 2022

The Outbound Ghost is a well-crafted project with a competent execution from a small dev team. The sceneries have a lot of repeated elements and exploration is oftentimes monotonous, but combat is a highlight due to the variety of Figments and it's fun to devise various strategies based on its elements. The story develops in an interesting way and helps keep the player engaged. It isn't an impressive game but it's worth giving it a try.

The Tarnishing of Juxtia tries to add good ideas to the already traditional mechanics of soulslike. The main one is the haste system that helps break the monotony of combat and allows the player to be more active and less reactive to enemies. However, the exploration leaves something to be desired for the inaccurate and tedious platforming snippets, and some of its ideas are underdeveloped to the point of being almost useless. Overall, The Tarnishing of Juxtia is a good game despite its issues. However, it will hardly attract the attention of players, as it does not present really striking mechanics that make it stand out among other games of the genre.

6.5 / 10.0 - Wildcat Gun Machine
May 17, 2022

Wildcat Gun Machine has its merits. Its proposal works well for an uncompromising game and the frenetic dose of action entertains for a while. Perhaps its biggest problem is not daring, abusing simplicity in its combat. Despite not compromising in practice, the absence of history disappoints and, in this sense, the game loses the chance to captivate the player more. So, it's only recommended for those who like action games with high difficulty, but it's better not to create too much expectation.

6.5 / 10.0 - Monster Crown
Nov 2, 2021

Monster Crown is more than just a copy of Pokémon. It is a game with a lot of personality, mainly due to its reproduction mechanics and its many charismatic monsters. However, its gameplay becomes tiresome due to its difficult to navigate menus and unintuitive combat. The map, although large, does not encourage exploration and makes things uninteresting. All in all, it's a worthwhile experience for Pokémon fans and, with future updates, it has everything to improve and become a remarkable title.

7 / 10.0 - Shuffle Tactics
Jul 2, 2025

Shuffle Tactics is a solid strategy game, despite its shortcomings. The wide variety of cards and amulets provides engaging gameplay options that can entertain for several hours. However, the title lacks a truly distinctive feature that would allow it to stand out within the genre. Its core mechanics evolve very little throughout the campaign, and the experience tends to become repetitive due to slow progression and unbalanced difficulty.

Into the Restless Ruins stands out for the way it guides the adventure, placing the responsibility on the player to forge their own path through the dungeons. Strategically planning the optimal route is an enjoyable challenge and showcases an idea with strong potential for further development in future titles. Unfortunately, the combat system falls short due to its lack of originality, which detracts somewhat from the overall experience. Still, despite its shortcomings, the game remains inventive and is a great recommendation for those looking for something different.
