A great collection of some of the hardest and most enjoyable titles in the past twenty years. The Mega Man X Legacy Collection features plenty of great content not just with the titles included but also the extra content that Capcom have lovingly packed into it.
Earthfall is a hard pill to swallow. Almost everything it does will lead to frustration. You're money is better off spent elsewhere unless of course you constantly love to scream in your friends ears.
A great addition to the Shining franchise. Refrain is a fun title with good combat, interesting characters, and some great voice acting accompanying a great translation.
Red Faction Guerrilla was the best of the Red Faction franchise and its Geomod technology proves its capable of withstanding the test of time. It may feel a bit dated in its driving mechanics and shooting controls but it makes up for that in it's phenomenal destruction that never gets old.
Return to the spectacular world of Anima in The Nameless Chronicles. Find out what we thought to this follow up to sleeper hit Anima: Gate of Memories in our review.
BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle should have been a triumph for Arc System Works cross franchise fighter, but instead it's simply just another fighter. The simple controls allow everyone to enjoy the title this time but its lack of characters hurt what could have been a grand undertaking.
Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn is a fun title for as long as it lasts and a forgettable one once it ends.
Agony is not a good game. It feels as if the developers just gave up after such a long development cycle. Filled with bugs, boring and infuriating stealth and chase sequences and repetitive puzzles it's very hard to find anything to enjoy in Agony.
Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality is a game that fans of the franchise will enjoy. It's a great puzzle game with fantastic writing and voice over work. I just wish it was a bit longer and didn't require so much space for a VR title to enjoy. The game is a real workout.
Extinction is a frustrating mess that has problems that in this day and age shouldn't exist. Camera problems, repetitive missions and frustrating climbing mechanics will have you rage quitting before you get half way though.
Far Cry 5 is the best Far Cry to date. The great additions and refinements made to the franchise are fantastic. Along with the inclusion of Far Cry Arcade, which extends your play time, Far Cry 5 is the ultimate open-world first person shooter.
Ni No Kuni 3: Revenant Kingdom is pure greatness. Everything it does it does at the highest level. RPG fans owe it to themselves to experience this gem. Easily one of the best games of this generation.
I wish the return of Fear Effect would have been something to celebrate. Unfortunately, it ends up being a mediocre attempt to revive the franchise.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet could have been an exceptional title in the franchise, with a little more work on its story and skills system, Its combat, exploration, and great boss battles, on the other hand, make Fatal Bullet the best Sword Art Online title to date.
Crossing Souls is another great title from Devolver Digital. An awesome 80's science fiction setting with great characters, writing, and electronic music. If you love old science fiction movies you're going to love Crossing Souls.
It's a shame that Seven Deadly Sins first forte into videogames couldn't have been better. As a big fan I enjoyed the Knights of Britannia for what it is but most will find it mediocre at best.
The third entry in the Dissidia franchise is a good one and fans of the franchise shouldn't miss out on this entry. With a massive roster of characters and entertaining combat, the core Dissidia mechanics are safe and sound. It's just a shame that this entry feels so bare bones, not only with its lack of game modes but in its story execution.
I had a blast playing through Slayaway Camp. A simple puzzle game that lets me play through some of my favorite horror movies and franchises. The blocky graphics have a great charm to them even though it sometimes gets in the way of the kill animations.
.hack//G.U. Last Recode is a great attempt to modernize an older franchise. All the improvements made by CyberConnect 2 were not only needed but welcomed. Sure it still suffers from designs of its time but that shouldn't deter you from a good overall experience.
Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon improves heavily on the original but it also stubbles by introducing unnecessary mechanics that hinders your ability to enjoy the game at your own pace.
