8 / 10.0 - Foretales
Oct 3, 2022

Foretales spearheads the card-based genre into an unexplored amalgamation of narration and choose-your-own-adventure though I wish it hadn't strayed from its card battler roots so much, which ultimately leads to a simple gameplay loop.

7.5 / 10.0 - House Party
Sep 30, 2022

More House Party is never a bad thing, and this is certainly true with House Party - Doja Cat Expansion Pack, though perhaps skip it and finish playing the main stories first before jumping into this one.

9 / 10.0 - Hell Pie
Sep 28, 2022

Incredibly enjoyable locomotion abilities, pleasant collectibles to find, and fun (albeit simple) platforming puzzles are all that await those that are willing to look past Hell Pie's grotesque themes of animal abuse, drug use, and religious tones.

9 / 10.0 - Frogun
Aug 2, 2022

Frogun is a must-play for 3D platformer enthusiasts that love retro-inspired titles. As long as you come with tempered expectations and expect a collect-a-thon more than fast-paced platforming, you'll love it.

8.5 / 10.0 - House Party
Jul 21, 2022

House Party surprised me by not being a game solely based around sex; the intricate storylines, lovable characters, and replayable nature makes this an easy title to recommend to those that don't feel queasy about the premise and ultimate reward.

8 / 10.0 - Eternal Threads
Jul 8, 2022

Eternal Threads is a wholly unique experience and one that I definitely recommend. That said, outside of snooping in the lives of six unsuspecting strangers there's not really any other elements to rope in gameplay-heavy players.

5.5 / 10.0 - Sephonie
Jun 5, 2022

Sephonie is an enjoyable experience gameplay-wise, but every other element weighs down an otherwise great puzzle platforming experience.

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters made me wish I was a veteran of the genre to appreciate it the way it deserved to. Ultimately, it left me yearning for the game it could have been.

Peppy's Adventure is the hardest puzzle game I've had the pleasure of reviewing thus far, and that is both a great and terrible thing for it, as I swiftly found myself hopelessly stuck.

10 / 10.0 - Sniper Elite 5

With so much to do, collect, and kill, I don't know how I'll be putting down Sniper Elite 5 any time soon.

King Arthur: Knight's Tale is a great turn-based strategy game, but vastly more so for those well-versed in Arthurian legend. That said, even if you don't know much about the legend - or want to learn about it - this is a great game.

Despite how daunting 100 puzzles might sound, Dungeons of Dreadrock is a quick and easy experience for any player. You should be able to complete this one in an evening and feel well accomplished.

6 / 10.0 - Trek to Yomi
May 5, 2022

Although the game is still a good experience, every enjoyable aspect was brought with a caveat that diminished my enjoyment somewhat. It's a great idea, but its execution was not so much.

7.5 / 10.0 - FAR: Changing Tides
Apr 30, 2022

FAR: Changing Tides is a phenomenal atmospheric game, as the visuals and sound design amalgamate wonderfully. However, you might be disappointed if you go into it expecting more.

8 / 10.0 - Crystal Project
Apr 30, 2022

Crystal Project's encouragement for exploration and building your own adventure is both the game's strongest and weakest point, as finishing your goal too early leads to the journey becoming stale.

RESEARCH and DESTROY is unintentionally comical, and this made the experience incredibly enjoyable. Fun gameplay and fun dialogue meant that my wife and I couldn't put down the game, and anxiously waited for our next round.

Expedition Rome's Death or Glory DLC adds plenty of content that is sure to please newcomers and hardcore fans of the game. That said, the amount of new content might not warrant a full playthrough of the game again.

3.5 / 10.0 - ITORAH

ITORAH's lush and vibrant environments are one of the only enjoyable aspects of the game, and even those won't manage to rope you through the game's boring storytelling and slow gameplay.

9 / 10.0 - Kombinera
Apr 16, 2022

Kombinera is a modern-day arcade experience, offering enough difficulty that it would have left me broke if I was paying a pound (or even 50p) per death. Incredible puzzles and charming visuals comprise a definite must-try for puzzle fans.

An absolutely enjoyable experience gameplay-wise, but a definitely skippable story; you're better off playing Death Stranding like a walking simulator and completing each area as you're introduced to it, rather than rushing to an unfulfilling story conclusion.
