A charming precision platformer with a pleasant story about mental health. Gorgeous graphics, beautiful music, and fantastic platforming had me coming back for more despite my thousand deaths.

7.5 / 10.0 - Sokobos

Deceptively simple, Sokobos will surely have you befuddled on each of its 60 levels as you build a temple for Zeus. Definitely recommended for hardcore puzzle fans.

8.5 / 10.0 - The Last Cube
Mar 23, 2022

The Last Cube's genius levels had me perplexed, as I scratched my head throughout the cleverly-built puzzles just trying to figure out how to proceed. Its lack of story was a mild letdown, but not one I'm too bothered by since I thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay.

5 / 10.0 - Dealer's Life 2

Great potential wasted by seemingly random events, the dumb AI allowed me to constantly scam them with no backlash.

10 / 10.0 - Ghostwire: Tokyo
Mar 21, 2022

Ghostwire: Tokyo is a phenomenal experience through and through, it didn't matter what area of the game I tackled, I found myself having a blast experiencing every single one of them.

What Lies in the Multiverse pulls itself in every direction, trying to tell both a comedic and tragic story, which ultimately works against its favour. The gameplay is enjoyable throughout most of the journey but soon stagnates at an easy difficulty.

10 / 10.0 - Elden Ring
Mar 2, 2022

ELDEN RING is the most accessible entry to a FromSoftware title to date, with plenty of things to explore, do, and enjoy. Those even mildly interested by the premise should give it a shot.

10 / 10.0 - Expeditions: Rome

Expeditions: Rome is astounding in every area I was presented with. Constantly I felt like there were tons of things for me to explore and pay attention to, and truly simulates how I picture leading an entire war campaign.

5.5 / 10.0 - I, Zombie
Jan 13, 2022

I, Zombie feels a lot like a flash game from sites such as Newgrounds, and expecting that level of quality will net you a fun and short experience. However, that is the extent the game has to offer.

League of Legends is amazing and fun, with a lot of variety and options in characters that can be played. That being said, the community is a big deterring factor given it's a 5v5 team-based game.

7 / 10.0 - Reigns
Jan 11, 2022

Reigns is a great game, however, it's only so in short bursts. Funny and whimsical writing makes for enjoyable and befuddling scenarios I was fond of that got a chuckle out of me.

10 / 10.0 - Children of Morta
Jan 11, 2022

Children of Morta is pieced together in such a way that no element feels out of place, and the wonderful roguelite gameplay is backed with a deep and emotional story that kept me engrossed until the very end.

Gorgeous graphics, a wonderful soundtrack, and exhilarating and quick-paced gunplay makes 12 is Better Than 6 a very fun experience. However, the game is dragged down aggressively by its terrible story and equally awful writing.

8 / 10.0 - Minion Masters
Jan 9, 2022

Minion Masters is easy to pick up, hard to master, and it's one of the things that makes it such a fun game to play. With a bustling and active community along with its free price tag, Minion Masters is a game everyone should try at least once.

10 / 10.0 - Horizon Zero Dawn

Horizon Zero Dawn truly expresses how videogames nowadays are an art form, if not only through its visuals and storytelling, then certainly through its expertly incorporated combat. A glee-filled experience through and through.

7.5 / 10.0 - Littlewood
Jan 7, 2022

Littlewood is a wonderful city builder, relaxing life-sim, and collect-a-thon game. I only wish that its social aspects had been a bit more centre focus for it falls short in comparison to all of the other systems in place.

Adventures of Pip's unique mechanic makes it stand out from the rest of the platformers I've played; the game makes wonderful use of the mechanic. Challenging enough to not make it a memory platformer but also not dull, this game is sure to charm any fans of the genre.
