4 / 5.0 - MLB 14: The Show
May 8, 2014

MLB 14: The Show was a great game a month ago when it came out on PlayStation 3, and it remains so on PlayStation 4. MLB 14 on PS4 is a rare year one sports game on a new console that is both significantly better looking and feature complete with the last generation version.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is not only a well above average movie licensed game, but a solid superhero game in its own right. The combat, while entirely unoriginal, is quite enjoyable and features a good sense of variety between its group encounters, stealth sequences, and boss fights.

Whether or not The Elder Scrolls Online is for you will depend entirely on what you're looking for out of it. If you want a true Elder Scrolls experience, with all the freedom, exploration, and immersion that comes with it, you're likely to be disappointed.

Feb 2, 2014

Consortium aims high, probably beyond the scope of what is reasonable for a game of this scale, but the experience is very enjoyable, if a bit short lived. Mechanically, there isn't much that's all that impressive, but from a storytelling standpoint, Consortium is a notable achievement.

2.5 / 5.0 - Speedball 2 HD
Dec 10, 2013

Speedball 2 HD is a faithful remake of the 1990 classic. It retains everything that made the original game fun, but much of its design feels outdated as a 2013 release.

2.5 / 5.0 - Tiny Brains
Dec 6, 2013

All the elements of a fun and creative co-op puzzler are present in Tiny Brains, but there are nagging issues or slight missteps that keep the game from reaching its potential at every turn. The powers are creative and fun to use, but the puzzles are far too easy.

4 / 5.0 - Resogun
Nov 17, 2013

Resogun is an incredibly fun game, but not much more than that. This is by no means a system seller and isn't a game that screams "next gen" in any area.
