Sometimes, fate is like a sandstorm that changes directions. You may change your direction to avoid it, but it will follow you. You will change your direction again, but it will adapt. This is FF7 Rebirth. If the original version talked about accepting death and fate, FF7 Rebirth takes you on a desperate journey in order to try to change fate, regardless of the consequences.

9 / 10.0 - Diablo IV
Jun 8, 2023

Sometimes the king is forced to go down on the battlefield and show everyone why he is the king. This quote may apply to the game Diablo IV, which was released in a year full of role-playing games "RPG" to prove its position among the greats. With a story that takes us back to the roots of the series and a rich and massive content even after the end of the game. It featured addictive gameplay, a large skill tree, endless customization, and a world that rewards and encourages you to explore. All of these reasons not only make Diablo 4 one of the best RPGs, but perhaps a fierce contender for the Game of the Year title.

8 / 10.0 - Ghostwire: Tokyo
Apr 1, 2022

Ghostwire Tokyo is a good new game that joins Shinji Mikami's huge catalog of games. It presented Japanese fantasy at its best, and despite some weakness in some aspects, I enjoyed it very much.

7 / 10.0 - ELEX II
Mar 25, 2022

It looks like Piranha Byte seems comfortable staying in its shell, as Elex 2 is keeping the things that the fans loved about the first game but they haven't made any attempt to raise the bar.

Expeditions: Rome presented a beautiful Roman experience, taking into account historical accuracy, but unfortunately it suffered from unbalanced units and a difficulty curve the least of what we can say about it is that it is unreasonable, However it is a beautiful experience that I recommend to everyone who loves strategy games

In a year full of good JRPGs, Shin Megami Tensei V shined as one of the best if not the best JRPGs of the year, Atlus, in their most ambitious endeavor were brilliant, and were only held back by the limited hardware they developed on.

8.5 / 10.0 - Age of Empires IV
Oct 25, 2021

Age of Empires IV is a passionate reenactment of a 16-year forgotten series. With the attention to the smallest details in the strategic playing style and the focus on sound effects and the difference between civilizations and others, all of this made the game seem as if it had not been lost for long, but rather kept pace with the latest developments in the industry.

7.5 / 10.0 - The Ascent

The Ascent is a nice experience hampered by technical issues but ultimately it's fun and keeps us waiting for what this 11-person studio can offer in the future.

When I started playing Samurai Warriors 5, I remembered the proverb: a wolf can change its skin, but it cannot change its character, so despite the change in appearance, it is still the same game. Omega Force studio tried to reinvent itself with new mechanics, but the implementation and the disastrous task distribution made it seem like a failed attempt to extend the life of the game.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contract 2 perfectly simulates snipers, although the close-range missions showed the studio's inexperience in shooting games with the first perspective that the studio sought to mix it in this version, but it remains a good experience for sniper lovers.

Necromunda: Hired Gun is a perfect example of a game that masters one thing and neglects the rest. The fun gameplay is matched by disastrous game design decisions, with myriad technical issues that make it an otherwise ordinary experience.

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne is a perfect example of the elaborate gameplay that defies the passage of time. Although the original game was released in 2003, the gameplay is still wonderful and addictive. In addition, the variety of stages and the difference in how to finish them, with enemies and bosses designed differently for each stage, Each enemy has its own behavior and the way to eliminate it is different. They are not a tool to receive damage, but an enemy that makes you think about all your steps. I wish Atlus paid more attention to the remaster, as there is no change to the cinematic scenes despite their small numbers, and using the music of the PlayStation 2 version even though there is a pure version on the Youtube platform is a shame. Despite that, Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne is a unique and wonderful experience that is different from the rest of the JRPGs that fans of this genre should try.
