EGGLIA Rebirth has a lot to offer, but also some poor design choices. Whether or not you can look past its weaknesses will mostly depend on your tolerance for mobile games.
Persona 5 Royal is an experience that no JRPG fan should miss, pure and simple. While it's an extremely satisfying experience overall, there are some rather visible areas for improvement in Persona 6. Nevertheless, this game is a modern classic.
The Tactics Ogre series has been dormant for a long time, but if this remaster is anything to go by, Square Enix still has total confidence in their IP. I cannot hesitate to recommend this game to fans of SRPGs, and it's accessible enough for newcomers to dive right in.
Continuing Capcom's past efforts to make the Monster Hunter series an accessible and enjoyable experience, Rise gets a lot of things right and very, very few things wrong. Expect to get caught up in a "just one more" cycle of grinding and crafting.
FuRyu can be quite hit or miss with their releases, and unfortunately I think Trinity Trigger is more a miss. That's not to say it isn't a worthwhile experience though, and I think its specific audience will enjoy what's on offer.
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is still unique in what it offers to the farming sim sub-genre: it's a slice of life, but you live the whole life. It's a shining example of worthwhile risky choices, and how genre-defining features only come through experimentation over imitation.
It's hard to tell why Fae Farm is shipping in the state that it's in, and it's a shame that the core of the game is overshadowed by bugs and poor design choices. I hope one day it's in a state where it's possible to love it as much as I want to.
Terra Memoria radiates passion from its developers, as well as a deep respect for its influences. and the strength of its visuals, audio and combat shine a spotlight on the creators' talent.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance feels like the version of the game ATLUS always wanted to make. It's fixed most of the issues from the original release, and despite still having a few flaws, is a deeply rewarding experience.
