Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 is a relaxing simulator that isn’t exactly a revolutionary leap forward, but it’s still entertaining. The game’s minor flaws aren’t anything major that would detract from it in any way. At the time of writing this review, there was an update that made the game completely unplayable, so I’m only rating it up to patch 1.0.4. If the developers can fix the issue, you’ve got a laid-back simulator here where, for a slightly higher price, you can relax with a hammer “in hand.”

Isonzo is an atmospheric FPS set during World War I. The game strives to be as authentic as possible and to depict the Italian front in its near-real form. Historical locations, weapons, and skins, combined with the right sound design, will quickly draw you into the grim world of war. The game mechanics and physics work flawlessly. A major downside is the poorly designed onboarding for newcomers, who are greeted with a lousy tutorial and a lot of deaths, forcing them to struggle for a long time and learn from their own mistakes before they can make progress and understand how the game works. In single-player, the AI spoils the experience. Isonzo is, in any case, a great shooter that I recommend to all fans of historical games.

In Sound Mind is a light horror game with an excellent atmosphere, which is enhanced primarily by its sound design. The originality of the setting and the interesting gameplay mechanics also stand out. As for the downsides, I’d mainly point to the poorly implemented stealth mode—it didn’t turn out very well. Ultimately, though, In Sound Mind is definitely worth buying, because when it’s on sale, you get a lot of great music for very little money. Literally.

Contraband Police is a border guard simulator that really hits the mark. The game’s atmosphere is top-notch (the sound design plays a significant role in this), and one of its major strengths is its refusal to fall into gaming clichés. The story is weaker, and there are no cinematic cutscenes, but on the other hand, the setting of a communist state and the moral dilemmas are portrayed brilliantly for younger players. Some mechanics still need work, but I would personally buy the final product.

Pixel Cup Soccer – Ultimate Edition is a soccer game set in the style of early 20th-century sports games. As a result, the graphics aren’t one of its strong points. The same goes for the game mechanics, so fans of technically demanding soccer won’t find much to enjoy here. However, the positives far outweigh the negatives; almost everything can be customized here, and the game is fun not only for solo players but also for a group of friends. Keep in mind, though, that this is a sports game with repetitive content, so long-term play will feel cyclical and monotonous.

Multiversus is a free-to-play game in the style of Mortal Kombat—a 2D side-scrolling brawler. Publisher Warner Bros. Games provided the developers with a wide range of licenses, and the team at Player First Games made the most of this opportunity. The game runs smoothly, doesn’t crash, and features interesting animations and sound design. Crossplay lets you play with friends on almost any decent gaming device, so you can have fun together in yet another great multiplayer title. The downside is the single-player mode, which lacks anything to keep you engaged for long. The biggest flaw, however, lies in the game’s overload of microtransactions, which eventually become quite annoying.

Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim™ is a dating simulator set in the world of Dead by Daylight. The game features simple point-and-click gameplay and dialogue, accompanied by a great deal of boredom with a subtle erotic undertone. Personally, I think it’s a highly overrated title that owes its high ratings to the parent game—Dead by Daylight. But if you enjoy clicking your mouse and reading a lot of fictional pickup lines, you’re on the right wavelength.

Dead by Daylight is a horror multiplayer (4+1) hide-and-seek game with a perfect atmosphere that’s played by a huge number of people, and it truly deserves its popularity. You can find it on many gaming platforms and play cross-platform with friends as survivors or solo as the killer. A minor downside is the game’s poor balance—though the developers are working hard to fix it—as well as the frequent need to spend money on new, relatively expensive DLC. Ultimately, it’s an original AAA title that will give you a real scare, and we highly recommend it.

If I had to sum up Just Die Already in a nutshell, I’d say that despite its flaws, the game will definitely entertain you. I highly recommend it for a group of four friends who want to play a casual game just for fun and aren’t looking to take anything too seriously. Just Die Already’s open world is interesting and won’t bore you to death. Price-wise, the game is affordable, and in my opinion, the purchase price matches the gaming experience. However, you won’t be able to avoid the shortcomings in the form of bugs and crashes.

Kerbal Space Program is a comprehensive space sandbox simulator where every single detail matters, which is why I recommend it to all players who are more like Sheldon Cooper and less like Charlie Sheen. Building a rocket, launching it into space, and performing various space maneuvers—that’s exactly what awaits you in this game. One final note: the price of this game has also skyrocketed, and it’s a bit on the high side.

Power to the People is an electrifying strategy game where you build an electrical infrastructure that even ČEZ would envy. You aim to satisfy customers and make as much money as possible. Simplicity is the game’s strong point, and it provides a fun distraction for a short while, even if the gameplay isn’t particularly thrilling. It’s more of an average gaming experience that didn’t do anything wrong, but didn’t offer anything extraordinary either.

The Forgotten City is a fantastic single-player narrative game that transports you, a modern-day person, to an ancient city presented in a stunning visual style and featuring a perfect gaming atmosphere. The game is reasonably priced, but knowledge of a foreign language is essential—as is the "Fatal Error" icon, which appeared all too frequently.

Fling to the Finish is a cooperative game where you and your partner are connected by a rope and must navigate through levels or races together in a coordinated manner. The developers are still working on this game, improving it and adding new content, which is definitely a plus. To groups of 2–8 players, we say that this is definitely the game for you and will certainly keep you entertained for a short while. On the other hand, we do not recommend it at all for solo players.

Ski Lifts Go Wrong is a 2D building game (though you can also switch to 3D mode, i.e., rotate the view) in which you build ski lifts while trying not to bore yourself to death. The game offers a campaign, sandbox, and workshop modes, but that’s all there is to it. The developers tried to liven up the game with varied levels, but they didn’t quite succeed, so we end up falling into a gameplay rut. For the current price, the entertainment value is disproportionate.

CountryBalls Heroes is a strategy game based on a popular meme. In terms of genre, the game tries to maintain this humorous tone, but unfortunately, it falls short. The formulaic battles, controls, and jokes aren’t entertaining. The only thing that matches what the game offers is its price.

Skully is a very nice game in which you have to overcome and jump 18 different interesting levels. It is accompanied by beautiful graphics, minimal bugs and errors and will guarantee you several hours of gaming experience. The story is simple, full of twists and definitely adds plus points. Ultimately, we can't help but feel good about Skull Skully, which is why we highly recommend buying the game (especially on sale).

Morkredd is a cooperative puzzle game that is not too time consuming. You will be surprised by the mysteriousness of the environment, highlighted by nice graphics and atmospheric music. The story, controls, and price fall quite significantly short here, but the biggest misstep is the unpolished singleplayer.

Juro Jánošík is a Slovak game with RPG, action, jumping and adventure elements. The Slovak environment, interface and dubbing are a nice gameplay change, which players (not only) from the Tatras will welcome. Minimal brutality, historical locations, tasteful graphics, Slovak traditions, engaging logic and reasoning - these are all factors that definitely say a resounding yes to buying this game.

Embr is an action-packed first-person game that will make you the number one firefighter. Investing in this game for a short period of time will guarantee you a relaxing entertainment, nice graphics and a few laugh-out-loud scenes. The game's controllability is at a very high level, as are its laws of physics. Embr's biggest downside is the story, which is rather weak and could have been a lot better. Hopefully in the sequel. Despite this, the game deserves a high rating and we highly recommend it.
