Fishing Break is a great relaxing title where you can switch off and play the game without much thought.
The Beast Inside is great with interesting puzzles and a great storyline but the graphics let this version of the title down. I would love to see some touch-screen controls implemented and maybe fine-tune the controls more.
You have people coming in and out all day to answer questions or give you ideas, whilst also needing to check social media and if you are so inclined, you can start wars with other countries. I found the game gets a little repetitive super quickly, and not to mention sitting there talking to people every minute got old super quick.
Sure, it’s fun to see some new characters get behind the wheel, and it’s great if you want a change from the usual “Ya-Hooo! I doubt many people would have considered the Smurfs for this kind of thing, but Smurfs Kart doesn’t bring anything new that will set it apart from existing Nintendo Karting games. It’s great to see them stick with the Smurfs art style, but the sound effects are rather lacking, particularly when it comes to the karts.
Thief Simulator 2 is one of those titles you launch when you want to kill some time, or if you want to prove to your friends that you really could get away with stealing from hard-working citizens like the delinquent you think you are.
Wanted: Dead made me want to go back and play the Ninja Gaiden games which I absolutely love and have spent plenty of time playing them. It’s a great game if you want to kill some time and either shoot or slash people to death in great fashion.
Age of Mythology is one of those games you can get lost in for hours upon hours, building from the ground up and becoming a force to be reckoned with. If you played the original version you will love the retold edition.
It’s another year and another NBA 2K release, and this year is NBA 2K25, and I could not be more keen to see Jayson Tatum from the Boston Celtics rocking the front cover. A’ja Wilson and Vince Carter are joining him as this year’s cover athletes. I
They’re always saying presentation is everything and that is not forgotten about, EA has made some great little additions to this year’s title with how it’s presented and obviously how the game handles.
Predator: Hunting Grounds will take you back to 1987 if you are like me and were not even alive back then but love the movies. When you launch this title and are sitting on the menu, you get to listen to the main theme from the movie, which was a giant nod and got me keen to launch into the jungle.
Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is the perfect little package if you want to jump into Lara Croft’s boots. Even if you’re a first-time player, you’ll get to experience the grandmother of action-adventure games, and as if in real life, you won’t have guides telling you what you’re looking for, and nothing telling you where to go next.
Puppet House was an enjoyable title, and the gameplay really draws you in the further you get into the game. While I wish it was a little longer, and perhaps a little harder to make the experience that bit better, the developers did an amazing job with what they had, including the graphics, audio, and controls.
The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is a great title that draws you in, making you want more from the game. Even with the disappointing English dub, the dialogue makes you want to get involved more with the story, and it keeps you wondering what is next in line.
Undisputed has filled that void super well with a great roster of fighters to sink your teeth into and who knows I might see you in an online match soon and you never know you might be the next Undisputed.
I feel like this title would be best suited to controllers and not PC as there is too much going on in the game whilst you are fighting off the hordes of random fighters from the other Dojo trying to mess you up. If you don’t like how the game has its controller scheme set up, you do have the option to change things to how you like them. The tutorial in the first scene teaches you all the basics and makes you do them several times so you get used to the combat and movement system.
F1 25 stands out as a major step forward for the franchise, offering meaningful improvements across gameplay, visuals, audio, and immersion.
