Jewel Legends: Tree of Life is a casual, cozy Match-3 game. With its colorful graphics, pleasant soundtrack, and smooth gameplay, it can quickly suck you in for a few minutes. Getting stuck is almost impossible, so there is no stress. As an added bonus, it’s a game you can play while doing something else.
William and Sly is a cozy and relaxing game about exploration and mushroom hunting. It offers a perfect escape for a few hours for any fan of cozy games and foxes.
Quadrium 3 is a nice puzzle that offers enough challenges for a few hours. It looks deceptively simple, but it’s definitely not a game that allows you to be distracted while playing. Still, it can get repetitive, so play in small doses.
Regency Solitaire II is an excellent game in a great game series. The gameplay is balanced well- it’s challenging, but more is needed to get stuck. The art and music are beautiful and well-suited to the game. You should not be disappointed if you like card games, solitaire, costume dramas, and historical romances. Me personally? I can’t wait for the next game in the series. Meanwhile, I’ll go and reread The Nonesuch.
Purrfectly Hidden Cats: Kittenrock is another good, cozy, hidden object game that lets you escape for a few moments. With its humour and upbeat atmosphere, it is great fun and will only leave you wanting more.
Minami Lane is easily one of the cutest and most “coziest” games I’ve ever played. From the moment I started it, I was immediately reminded of another cozy favourite of mine – Capybara Spa, but to be honest, Minami Lane is easily the better game. It perfectly balances challenge and cuteness with enough quirkiness and cats to satisfy any cozy games fan. My only gripe is that someone should’ve warned me to get a bubble tea to have on hand while playing Minami Lane.
Animated Jigsaw Puzzles is a classic-style jigsaw puzzles with a twist. Instead of a stationary picture, we get an animated one. You have to be a fan of the jigsaw genre. If you’re not all the little similar colored pieces can be a challenge. It’s a good game that can quickly suck you in for a few hours.
Solitaire Quest: Garden Story is a fun game for Solitaire fans. The story is nothing special, but it does give the game some contextuality and explains the need to upgrade the garden. That’s common for games like this one. The star of the game is, without a doubt, the artwork; it’s cosy and beautiful. It’s more appealing than the green backgrounds of the usual solitaire games. If you like solitaire, Solitaire Quest: Garden Story offers more than enough quality and quantity for its price.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits is one of my favorite games from the last few years. It’s dynamic and colorful; it has a story and heart. It makes you think and care about its characters and story. The only thing I don’t like about this game is that it still has no sequel.
Purrfectly Hidden Cats: Kittenbay is another good cozy hidden object game that lets you escape for a few moments. With its humor and upbeat atmosphere, it is great fun, but it might overstay its welcome if you get stuck at 49 pink cats out of 50
The Talos Principle 2 is one of the best puzzle games I’ve played recently. It is also one of the best and most thought-provoking sci-fi stories I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing. I can’t recommend it enough.
Purrfectly Hidden Cats: Kittenwood is the perfect cozy hidden object escape for a few moments during these cold winter months. With its humor and upbeat atmosphere, it is well worth the time.
Chronique des Silencieux is a game I’ve waited quite a while for, and I am happy to report it didn’t disappoint at all. It was everything it promised to be. I hope this is not the last I see from Eugene, a private detective.
While Meow Moments itself, in the way it is now, has little replayability value, the fact that it is free more than makes up for it. Besides, the developers promise to add a lot more content shortly. What’s more, the level creator can also be used to create new levels and challenges. If the new DLCs keep the quality of the main game, Meow Moments has the potential to become a go-to hub for hidden object/ kitten games. In any case, it’s a game that is more than worth it for fans of the genre.
I thoroughly enjoyed Lil’ Guardsman, and I’ll enjoy it for a while longer while I get more endings. Meanwhile, I’ll recommend it several times to the same people until they finally decide enough is enough and try it themselves. It’s that good
Pixsaw is a good game, but if it had more variety in the gameplay, so, for example, options to change the color or maybe the option to toggle off the colored outline where a shape fits, it might’ve been more engaging. Pixsaw might be alright to play some levels here and there. I do wish all-size puzzles were unlocked at the beginning. Still, it’s a nice and colorful puzzle game that can help you pass the time if you like this type of puzzle.
Harvest Havoc can be a hilariously busy and chaotic farm-themed battle royal. The servers are empty now, but you can connect with friends easily. I am always looking for good online games to play with friends around the globe, and Harvest Havoc fits the bill nicely.
Genius Moves! offers a few hours of charming logic puzzles. It’s nothing too special, nothing unseen, but if you like logic games and you are in the mood for some colorful coziness, Genius Moves! might be just the game for you.
Twistingo Hummingbird Haven Collector’s Edition is a nice mini-game collection that will entertain you for a few hours. While it doesn’t offer anything groundbreaking it still has all the ingredients to make it work. While I haven’t played the first game in the series, I did read Mina’s excellent review and it appears this game is quite similar if not identical to that game. If you enjoyed the first Twistingo, you might enjoy this one.
Zooplop certainly surprised me. The gameplay and the art style are straightforward, but the game is fun. It’s almost like cotton candy; no substance, but fun. I don’t see Zooplop having any replay value, and there isn’t much strategy to it; you mash animals together, after all, but it serves its primary function reasonably well: to entertain.
