Vacation Adventure: Park Ranger 16 Collector’s Edition is a standard hidden object game. If you enjoy this genre, you’ll likely also appreciate this game.
My Little Life is a charming little game that sits on the edge of your screen, allowing you a brief respite from everyday work. With its cute pixel graphics and easy-to-get-used-to gameplay mechanics, it’s reinventing the desktop pets mechanic of old and giving it a new lease on life.
Wanderstop easily became one of my favorite games ever, not only because it combined all of my favorite things but also because of its heart and humor. I completed the game in about 11 hours, and while I was satisfied with its length, I wouldn’t mind meeting the characters again. I will surely miss Boro and Alta. If you like tea, magical farming, and gorgeous cozy fantasy, you will probably love Wanderstop as much as I did.
Birdfull is the ideal game for a relaxing and educational experience that requires little effort. It is perfect for all ages with its simple game mechanics and warm atmosphere. Every session offers us a chance to relax, learn new things, and connect with nature, making it a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Clutter 17: Flower Power Collector’s Edition is an unlikely hero in puzzle games, at least in my book. It doesn’t look as polished as some of its modern-day competitors. But it still delivers a great gaming experience, whether you are a die-hard fan of the puzzle genre or a casual gamer looking for a quick puzzle game while on a break.
Wyrmhall: Brush and Banter surprised me in a way—I did not expect to like it as much as I did. With its wholesome storyline, relaxing gameplay, and atmosphere, it will be an easy favourite for many people. And I won’t mind if there’s a sequel or a DLC in the future—giving us a chance to clean some more fantastical artefacts and to meet some more funky characters.
Much like the previous games in the series, 100 Hidden Cats: Playground is a short and sweet hidden object game. If you need something concise, this might be the game for you.
Puzzles for Clef is an ideal rainy-day game—it has rabbits, music, whimsy, a beautiful setting, relaxing puzzles, and no rush or hurry. I think it’s a game meant to be savoured and played slowly, and I love it. I think you might, too.
Chocolate Factory Simulator is not without its faults, but if you are curious about the chocolate-making process and love simulator games, you should take a look.
The Roottrees are Dead is a great puzzle game and a great detective point-and-click game. There is a lot of reading to do, a lot of lore, and deductions to be made. The visuals and world-building are great. The soundtrack is excellent. The only thing left to say is that I hope there’s a sequel soon, or at the very least, another game from the developer in the same style. If you love detective games, you should definitely check out The Roottrees are Dead.
TetriMatch is a nice little Tetris game. It took me less than 20 minutes to complete all the achievements, but afterwards, we still have leaderboards if that motivates you. If you like Tetris, you’ll probably like TetriMatch as well.
In Reviver, we follow the life stories of two main characters and shape their destinies through our choices. The game’s combination of hand-drawn style and immersive interactive experience creates a profound journey of love and choice. It’s a great little game, and I can’t wait to see what the developers will come up with next.
Tidy Backpack, with its whimsical soundtrack, cute artwork, and relaxing gameplay, makes for a nice surprise in between more intense fantasy gaming sessions or everyday work. It’s a nice puzzle game, perfectly balanced between cozy and challenging, and if you like puzzle games, you’ll probably love it as much as I did.
Mizi NO! is a fun and relaxing game about putting things together. The levels are easy enough to let you relax for a few minutes. And it has cats! Really, what’s not to like?
Jewel Match Solitaire Winterscapes 3 – Collector’s Edition is the first game I’ve played in this series, but after I finish it, I will be checking the rest of them. I love a good solitaire game, and Jewel Match Solitaire Winterscapes 3 – Collector’s Edition checks all the boxes for me – pleasant artwork, gameplay options, varied gameplay, and a nice soundtrack.
While following the same gameplay mechanics in the series, Hidden Cats in Tokyo tries to be a bit different. Mostly, it succeeds and would be a great delight for fans of the hidden cats genre.
Hidden Capybaras with Orange and Pumpkins: Spooky Halloween Edition is a brief but fantastic little game about finding capybaras in a little Halloween town. It has no timers, but a fast-recharging hint, nice soundtrack, and one big scene, full of heart and humor, make the whole game a great relaxing experience. And if that is not enough, it’s a free game. I hope the developers have a new capybara game in the works, for I can’t wait for the next one.
Much like the previous games in the series, Hidden Cats: Thief is a short and sweet hidden object game. If you need something concise, this might be the game for you.
Hidden Capybaras with Orange in the Whimsical Library is a brief but fantastic little game about finding capybaras and owls in a magical library. It has no timers, and that, combined with the other elements of the gameplay, such as a fast recharging hint, nice soundtrack, and beautiful soundtrack, as well as several scenes, makes the whole game a great relaxing experience. I hope the developers have a new capybara game in the workings, for I can’t wait for the next one.
Pixel Cross Stitch Color By Number is a nice little game for people who love to color. There are no timers or levels to pass, and the controls are simple and responsive. While it’s by no means groundbreaking, it does what it sets out to do—helping people pass the time by coloring. What’s not to like?
