8 / 10.0 - Terra Memoria
May 27, 2024

Terra Memoria is a small, but addictive RPG that I can recommend with a clear conscience. It's a title that is correct in every aspect and gives a ton of pleasure, but in the end it leaves a feeling that it could have been something more. Despite this disappointment, it is worth taking an interest in this production.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is undoubtedly one of the best games of this year. Not only does it shine in terms of audio-visual setting, but also in terms of story. The only element that could be considered caveat is at the same time its greatest asset, namely cinematography. Sometimes one gets the impression that the developers, in an effort to achieve the best possible effect, had to make a lot of compromises, which significantly limited the gameplay possibilities. Nevertheless, for a great narrative and immersion, this is something to turn a blind eye to.

Buckshot Roulette is undoubtedly a horror production, although it does not scare in the traditional sense of the word. Yes, the rusty, somewhat blurry, fuzzy and grain-covered images arouse considerable anxiety, and the muffled background music emphasizes the dark atmosphere. The greatest fear and stress, however, is induced by randomness. If we put the barrel of a shotgun to our lips, will we survive? If we shoot at the dealer, will we hit a sharp cartridge? Although the described elements may not sound convincing, take my word for it - the whole audiovisual setting, combined with uncertainty and slow pace, can make your heart beat faster. As if that weren't enough, in the course of a double-stakes game, nerves grow with each successive game, increasing tension and stress to the limit.

8.5 / 10.0 - Robobeat
May 14, 2024

ROBOBEAT is currently one of the best rhythm FPS games available on the market. The technical state of the game has been polished to the limit. Maybe the content is not as much as in competing titles, but it is extremely diverse. In addition, the ability to import your own music and play it during subsequent approaches is something you can search in vain elsewhere. Although it doesn't always work perfectly. Nevertheless, ROBOBEAT is a great roguelike, at which I spent many long hours accompanied by my favorite songs and a faster heartbeat.

8.5 / 10.0 - Bears in Space
May 10, 2024

Bears in Space is a game that I can wholeheartedly recommend. This production, created by a handful of people, looks better and more impressive than many high-budget titles created by a whole host of people. It's a production that draws handfuls from such legendary titles as Doom Eternal, High on Life, Borderlands, Ratchet & Clank and Postal: Brain Damaged, but served in a more colorful and accessible style for whole families. It's a game filled with humor and action that everyone will have fun with.

Tales of Kenzera: Zau is a solid metroidvania that provides 7 to 10 hours of very good fun. However, it is not a perfect title. It has a flaw in almost every category. Nevertheless, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. This game is like a diamond, but full of imperfections and lack of polish. Personally, I had a great time with this production. Between game sessions, I couldn't wait to get into Zau's character again. If another Tales of Kenzera is created, I will be very eager to check it out.

Amanda the Adventurer is certainly an interesting approach to the horror genre. It is worth playing this title at least for its unique atmosphere and unusual approach to gameplay. Nevertheless, don't expect an out-of-this-world scary experience from it. Although it is a horror game, it does not arouse such strong emotions.

7.5 / 10.0 - Bakery Simulator
Apr 2, 2024

Bakery Simulator may not be a pretty title, a good-sounding title, and, in particular, not one that works perfectly. Nevertheless, it makes up for it with relaxing gameplay. Creating bread and warm buns, and delivering them to your homes so you have something to eat, was an incredibly engaging and enjoyable experience. I will lovingly revisit this title, but given the slight repetitiveness after unlocking everything, it won't happen all that often. Is this title worth purchasing? I think so, especially if you're looking for a way to relax and the sight of fresh, warm bread makes you happy.

Princess Peach: Showtime! definitely could have been more than what we ultimately got. This game is a solidly crafted game that lacks heart and soul. Fortunately, it's a light, short enough adventure that little ones should have a pretty good time with. The low entry threshold, as well as the short duration of the individual levels, make it an ideal production for children who would like to start their adventure not only with platformers, but with video games in general.

7.5 / 10.0 - Home Safety Hotline
Mar 20, 2024

Is Home Safety Hotline worth adding to your game library? I think it is, most definitely. Because despite its significant flaws, this is a title that not only looks good, but also offers something new in the horror genre. And, most importantly, it brings a lot of fun.

5 / 10.0 - Sixty Four
Mar 9, 2024

Can I in good conscience recommend Sixty Four? At the moment my answer is unfortunately no. This production had potential that was badly executed. Until the game is developed with such needed elements as better communication with the player and better balance, I cannot confidently recommend this title. Nevertheless, it is worth having it somewhere in the back of your mind.

3.5 / 10.0 - Skull and Bones
Feb 25, 2024

Skull and Bones is not something I can recommend to anyone. If you want to play a good game about pirates, I suggest going back to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, released years ago. It's really interesting that a game released 11 years after its development and seven years after its announcement ultimately turned out to be worse and more primitive than the older title that inspired it. Unfortunately, though, practically nothing worked out in Skull and Bones. It's an incomplete title, full of flaws and bad decisions. Playing it was a road through agony for me. It may not be the worst game we've gotten and will get this year, but it's still disappointing.

8.5 / 10.0 - Persona 3 Reload
Feb 19, 2024

Persona 3 Reload is a tough nut to crack. It's undeniably the worst Persona I've had the opportunity to play. However, it's still Persona! It's a great title that sucks you in and is addictive. It's a game that you sit down to first thing in the morning and only stop playing late at night, because you notice that you're sort of struggling to sleep.

7.5 / 10.0 - The Universim
Jan 29, 2024

I quite enjoyed The Universim, although I am unlikely to return to this title any time soon. I recommend this title, although I should note that it is not for those looking for a challenge or something more dynamic. It is just such a relaxing economic strategy with a few divine additions.

Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic is a very enjoyable production that stole just over an hour from my life. I am able to recommend it to anyone looking for something calming, but also warming up some of our brain rolls. What's more, you can see at a glance that this title could have been done a bit better. However, it is already not bad and is a game worth recommending.

The Rogue-lite approach to gameplay is a very interesting treatment that could be a good way to extend the life of this single-player production. It's a good way to delve back into the thick of endless battles without having to go through the campaign again. However, marathons are boring in the long run. Unfortunately, though, Valhalla doesn't have the one more round syndrome. However, once in a while, making such a run is a great idea to spend your free time.

SCP: Secret Files is a game that is not limited to those interested in the SCP foundation and anomalies. The game explains everything in a simple and accessible way, so that literally everyone will find their way here and will not feel lost. SCP: Secret Files is an amazing game, which is not only a walking horror game, but also a great mishmash of other gameplay forms. I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to try this game.

7.5 / 10.0 - Weedcraft Inc
Dec 30, 2023

Weedcraft Inc is an unusual creation that is able to attract many players with its theme. It is a solid economic game that offers a lot of possibilities and complexity of gameplay. The game is aimed at players who like a challenge. It's just a shame that the title wasted an opportunity to address the positive effects of marijuana, as well as the potentially harmful ones. Anyway, this is a decent strategy for not too much money, which will appeal to a small group of players.

8 / 10.0 - House Flipper 2
Dec 25, 2023

House Flipper 2 is a game that takes boring tasks such as cleaning or renovations and transforms them into truly addictive and enjoyable fun. Despite the simplicity in gameplay and repetitive activities, this title doesn't get boring for a moment. I spent 12 wonderful hours with it and I certainly won't stop there. I recommend it to fans of simulation games, but also to people who are looking for something lighter, at which it is easy to relax.

Despite all the reservations, complaints and finger-pointing, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is not a bad game. It looks and sounds amazing. The movement and arcade combat are done right. Unfortunately, Ubisoft plunged even further into its trap of open worlds, making the game boring and at times even repulsive. Very quickly I began to tire of this production, practically forcing myself to continue wading into the storyline and exploring the world.
