Cairn is an exceptionally well-made game. Difficult, demanding, and at times unforgiving, yet extremely satisfying and engaging. Paradoxically, it can also be relaxing. At the same time, it is a game that will evoke a wide range of emotions in us, and will most likely force us to reflect and ponder the meaning of the finale itself. It is also a game that is not without its flaws, but these can be forgiven in light of the rest of the game, which is extremely well done.

It is a perfectly balanced adventure that combines stress, adrenaline, and a spectacular show that players will not forget for a long time. Mewgenics took me completely by surprise. Despite my great fondness for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, I didn't follow McMillen's subsequent projects closely. However, when I accidentally found out about this game just a month before its release and saw how much potential it had, I knew I had to check it out. Fortunately, I was not disappointed. Mewgenics is an excellent game with a huge amount of content, engaging and multi-layered gameplay, and stunning audiovisuals. It is a game that will stay with us for years to come. I have no doubt about that!

Reanimal is a great horror game that can crush the player with its atmosphere. Beautiful visuals combined with atmospheric audio give us an unforgettable experience that cannot be found anywhere else. If you need to feel a little fear for two evenings, Reanimal is the perfect choice.

Nioh 3 is probably the best part of the entire Nioh trilogy. It is a very dynamic action RPG that diversifies the whole adventure by mixing two different fighting styles. Combined with diverse visuals and great sound, it simply gives us a very good game.

Arknights: Endfield is a very good game, but unfortunately, the initial pace is quite slow. If you can get through the tedious first two hours, you'll find yourself playing a great RPG with an automation theme. At times, you might even forget that this is a gacha game, because it's so enjoyable in this regard that it doesn't push these elements to the forefront.

Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is a game that I can recommend to anyone with a clear conscience. It is a very atmospheric, engaging game that, above all, provides a lot of fun. Sure, you could point to some repetitiveness, a few persistent bugs, or mediocre optimization, but all these flaws are lost in the thicket of at least ten hours of truly solid and satisfying fun.

So, is Ancient Farm worth your attention? I think so, absolutely. The game is not without its flaws, but more importantly, it is engaging and a lot of fun. If you're looking for simple, casual, and undemanding gameplay that allows you to unwind and relax a bit, this is the title for you. It's also important to remember that, after all, this is a small and uncomplicated production.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is a decent game, but after many years of waiting, it didn't quite live up to all my expectations. Sure, the gameplay is top-notch, and the graphics and music are excellent, but the story leaves a lot to be desired, and some design decisions could have been better thought out. However, if you're a fan of Samus' adventures, you'll definitely have fun with Beyond.

Gruniożerca Trilogy is a successful compilation and a solid port of three fan-made productions dedicated to adorable guinea pigs. Each game is different in its own way, yet each one is engaging and provides a lot of fun. The only real complaints I have are the unintuitive controls and the lack of a few useful quality-of-life improvements.

A.I.L.A is a game full of extremes. On the one hand, it impresses with its visuals, great level design, and quite enjoyable puzzles. On the other hand, the plot is a complete disappointment. Despite its great potential, it has been poorly executed, and all elements related to combat are simply terrible. And that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this game's problems.

Project Motor Racing is one of the worst releases of 2025. A racing game released at the price of a big-budget title, it is in worse shape than some games that are released in Early Access. Tragic optimization, hopeless AI, poor graphics and UI, and the lack of a visual damage system are some of the most important elements that drag this game down to failure.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a very good action game that should be a must-have for fans of The Legend of Zelda series. The game nicely fills in any gaps left by Tears of the Kingdom, adding depth to various characters and many events mentioned in previous games. If you need an action game that will make you feel like a real boss, this is a good choice.

The developers at Enhance and Monstars Inc. have once again delivered a truly successful production that is a lot of fun to play. I won't hide the fact that Lumines Arise didn't draw me in as much as the legendary Tetris, but it's still a solid title that can entertain and give a lot of satisfaction. Most importantly, it's a real feast for the eyes and ears, making every minute spent with this game magical. It looks beautiful, works very well, and fans of character customization will certainly have no complaints.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is a very strange combination. A decent multiplayer mode and a fairly interesting zombies mode are dragged down by the worst story campaign in the entire series. If you like the multiplayer mode of this series, it's worth checking out this game, but definitely not at the current price, because the overall experience is definitely not worth buying.

Dispatch has practically everything going for it. From the audiovisual setting, through the excellent technical condition and superb voice acting, to the phenomenally written characters and a story that completely captivates the player's attention and heart. It is undoubtedly one of the best titles of the year, and certainly the game with the most interesting story we have seen in 2025. I wholeheartedly recommend it and eagerly await the second season and future productions from AdHoc studio.

The Outer Worlds 2 is a solid game that I can recommend to any fan of sci-fi RPGs. Obsidian has done a great job here, and it's definitely a step up from the previous installment in the series. Of course, it's still far from perfect, but you can see that the team is gradually learning from its mistakes, and hopefully they will bring the series to perfection as a trilogy.

Painkiller is, unfortunately, a huge disappointment for an old fan of the series – such as myself. A great arena shooter with a dark atmosphere has been reduced to a co-op shooter without any soul or interesting ideas. Unfortunately, despite the nicely crafted locations and good overall artistic vision, many mistakes were made in the design of the gameplay itself.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A is a perfectly decent game, but it needed a little more planning and better ideas. The new combat system works very well in many cases, but in some cases it fails completely. The plot itself is quite schematic and follows a repetitive pattern throughout most of the game, which works to the detriment of this game. However, overall, it is not a bad game by any means, but simply contains elements that needed modification or improvement.
