ANTONBLAST jumped out of the blue two years after its kickstarter campaign and definitely showed what it was capable of. It is a great platformer game in the style of the Wario Land series, which presents this gameplay model in its own style, while not being afraid to take risky directions. Without a doubt, this is one of the best platformer games of this year.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl would have been one of the candidates for game of the year, but unfortunately, a terrible technical state spoiled the overall feeling of the gameplay. The game's great world and gameplay, coupled with strong atmosphere, music and acting is offset by bugs, errors and optimization problems.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a very tough nut to crack. I can't tell if I love or hate this game. On the one hand, I completely regret that I ever launched this game. For practically the entire game was going through my mind to abandon this title and return to the classic installment that was phenomenal like Origins or the much-loved Inquisition. On the other hand, I would love to play this title a second time, making a new character, making different choices, deciding on a different romance, and even more to try to get the best, not the worst, ending.

Mario & Luigi: Brothership is a very enjoyable installment of the long-running RPG series starring the plumber brothers. An enjoyable battle system, a somewhat tame storyline, familiar characters and a pleasant soundtrack are definitely a recipe for success, despite a few imperfections. If you are looking for an enjoyable adventure for about 25-30 hours then Brothership is a very good choice.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is to the Persona series what Elden Ring was to Dark Souls or Pokémon Legends: Arceus was to the classic installments. The skeleton of the gameplay remains virtually the same, with minor changes and setting in a different world and universe. Despite a few flaws and numerous imperfections, I had a great time with this game. It's a title that I can recommend not only to Persona fans. Nevertheless, I can't help feeling that this production was created mainly to satisfy the hunger of the developer's biggest fans in anticipation of the upcoming release of Persona 6.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is far from being called the best installment in the series, but neither can it be considered the worst or even bad. It's a solid FPS that you can have a great time with, but it's important to remember that it's not a perfect product, and its flaws are noticeable. The story campaign is beautifully crafted, detailed and offers plenty of great fun, while the story leaves much to be desired. The zombie mode is enjoyable, although the game lacks a larger number of maps here. The multiplayer mode, on the other hand, has reawakened in me the desire to play match after match. However, by the same token, we don't have many innovations here, and the maps are a little bit worse from those of previous installments.

The Lake House DLC is another success from Remedy. After the previous quite diverse DLC, we get a full return to the horror vibe, and it's quite a successful return. The DLC is an interesting and sadly brief return to familiar themes from Control, while mixing mechanics from Alan Wake 2. The DLC is at the same time a gateway to the upcoming Control 2, which I am strongly looking forward to.

A Quiet Place: The Road is a pretty decent game based on a well-known movie franchise. What we have here is a pretty good stealthy horror game that offers very good acting and animation. Unfortunately, some of the gameplay decisions weren't quite right, and the music doesn't deliver as well as the rest of the audio. However, looking at the price of the game, I'm able to conclude that it's adequate and not exaggerated, as is the case with other games that have been coming out recently.

Just Dance is a game that definitely deserves to be recommended - you can really have a great time with it. However, without introducing more freshness to the formula, or even something groundbreaking, it still remains the same game. I advise you to think about which set of songs suits you best, and possibly purchase it, as the game essentially remains the same.

Neva is an extremely emotional journey that catches your heart and makes you cry. It is probably my favorite game of the year at the moment, due to the fact that it provided me with everything I need in a video game. Very good gameplay, beautiful graphics and an emotional soundtrack complementing it all, gives one of the best gaming blends this year.

I won't hide the fact that I had a great time with Just Dance VR. If it weren't for the fact that we dance all the songs solo, and we also get a rather poor library of songs, I would say that this is the best way to interact with this series of rhythm and dance games. The set of available songs is a thoughtful mix of the greatest hits, and the gameplay provides incredible pleasure and fun. This is a must-have title for Meta Quest headset owners.

Silent Hill 2 from Bloober Team is a phenomenal revamp of the legendary game from Konami. The changes in the presentation of the story, the changes in the gameplay and the entire audio-visual setting blend together perfectly, presenting the definitive version of the foggy city. I hope that the collaboration between Konami and Bloober Team will not end with just this production, because it is clear that Bloober knows what it is doing and understands the brand.

Tiny Glade can hardly be called a full-fledged game. Rather, it is a tool that allows you to demonstrate your creativity while offering a moment of relaxation. In this role it works really well. The dioramas we create look fantastic, and the final result gives a lot of satisfaction. Unfortunately, there is no denying that the number of available tools is limited, and the variety of content leaves much to be desired. We quickly discover all the possibilities of combining elements, and it only takes half an hour to explore and test everything Tiny Glade has to offer. It's a title you'll definitely relax with, creating something beautiful, but the lack of variety makes it hard to stay with it for more than one, maybe two sessions.

Europa is an average adventure game, which unfortunately does not surprise with anything new in terms of story and gameplay, but offers an incredibly good soundtrack. To this we can add a short duration, which does not fill us with optimism in terms of a potential purchase, which is a pity, because the potential was high.

Shattered Space is unfortunately a pretty big failure for Bethesda Game Studios. “Expansion” unfortunately introduces an uninteresting story, which with its length does not justify such a high price. In addition, the lack of any significant gameplay innovations also does not help the reception of the production.

KILL KNIGHT is a very good game that takes the well-known single-player arena shooters to an isometric view and does it together with a perfectly fitting graphic style and soundtrack. If you are a fan of fighting for the top spots on the leaderboards or long hours of massively knocking out opponents, then KILL KNIGHT is definitely for you.

Selfloss is not a game worth recommending, at least until some of its elements are thoroughly overhauled. The overly slow pace and uninteresting storyline also contribute to this impression. Yes, the game looks and sounds nice, but it doesn't matter much when the mechanics and the gameplay itself are full of shortcomings and bugs, and what's worse, they don't make it any fun.

The Jackbox Naughty Pack is a completely unnecessary package. For the exorbitant price we get only three games, two of which are the same old stuff, and the only novelty is a complete dud. In addition, it is necessary to mention technical problems that can spoil the gameplay. Moreover, although at first some of the slogans and commands make you smile, after a while it turns into a grimace of embarrassment and cringe.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a title that I can in good conscience recommend to anyone who craves intense, violent gameplay. Fans of the universe will certainly be satisfied, and people who, like me, are not familiar with it, will certainly be interested in it. It is absolutely not a perfect game, but it offers a lot of great fun, and its atmosphere is unique.

Copycat is without a doubt one of the biggest surprises of the year. The game, which appeared out of nowhere, stole my heart and reminded me about the important values in life that we should always keep in mind.
