Commander '85 Reviews
A tough nut to crack, but this game has great potential and some serious rewards for persistence. Play with a keyboard at hand for a more enjoyable experience.
Unfortunately, it’s hard, near impossible, to recommend point and click games on consoles; Commander ’85 included; especially given the game gives you an option to actually type commands. The game is not intuitive, vastly tedious, slow and devoid of gameplay variety aside from moving around a cursor. Had it been more like Life is Strange, this could’ve been much better. This type of game is perfect of PC and mobile devices, but otherwise, this is a pass.
Commander '85 will go down as an interesting curio that fulfil its promise and is held back by bugs and glitches. It's difficult to recommend more than maybe checking out a Let's Play of this unsatisfying game. Commander '85 is another example of why we sometimes should leave the past in the past.
