The Elder Scrolls Online: Markarth Reviews
The content of this DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online, part of the Greymoor arc, may not satisfy in terms of content added but still manages to give a worthy ending to the Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline. Markarth is essentially a piece of content that focuses on the story; you should not expect new gameplay mechanics or anything of the sort out of it. Could it have been better? That is often the case, but the hopes for ESO's future lie elsewhere.

The epilogue to Greymoor, Skyrim's Dark Heart of The Elder Scrolls Online, is unfortunately not the unique and impressive ending we would have expected. Although the adventure is in any case enjoyable and full of interesting ideas (especially for the presence of a main villain with charisma to sell), Markarth closes this last parenthesis in the lands of Tamriel in a way that is a little too soft and incisive compared to what has been seen with previous expansions. In any case, there remains the hope that the future of ESO will soon take us back to the fascinating fantasy heaths of one of the MMO sagas most loved by players from all over the world.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Markarth manages to establish itself as a top quality content capable of more than closing the year on ESO. The crowning glory of Dark Heart of Skyrim comes in a complete and conscious way, with developers managing to focus on the narrative and single player systems that have been missing for a while on ESO. The closing of the chapter makes us reflect on what has passed in the last year, and it can be said without doubt that it has been a great year for ESO. My argonian, myself and the entire editorial staff of Serial Gamer Italia are proud to have taken part in this adventure and we can't wait to experience the next ones. The Next Gen has now started on consoles and our mouths are watering just thinking about what this generational change will mean for The Elder Scrolls Online.

At the end of the day, The Elder Scrolls Online: Markarth isn’t some giant leap and bound away from Greymoor, but rather, subtle addition to it. The only major additions you will find are both in the form of Quality of Life and replayability factors. Some may even find that the story alone is enough to trek through it.
The latest DLC of 2020 is really good from the point of view of the main missions, but fallacious on various other aspects. The side quests are many, but also quite repetitive.
