Hearthstone: Forged in the Barrens Reviews
Forged in the Barrens is not entirely convincing due to the excessive shyness of the new mechanics and a not fun meta. Dev must balance the situation asap because the Year of the Griffin deserves a more crackling start.

Between ups and downs Forged in the Barrens is not completely convincing, but it's still an expansion useful for Hearthstone's growth. The meta must be fixed quickly to allow new mechanics and archetypes to come forward without fear.

Forged in the Barrens is an interesting expansion for Hearthstone that plays it safe while also introducing ideas that could make for some exciting changes in the future.
If we wanted to be picky, we would judge Forged in the Barrens as a fairly conservative expansion, with only one new keyword and a set of interesting but not shocking cards, but just look at the combo created by the new, mammoth patch and subsequent expansion to realize how hard the development team is working to turn Hearthstone around like a sock, in order to make it more attractive to new players and equally comfortable for those of the water under the decks who have it seen so much passing.
