Star Wars: Republic Commando Reviews
Star Wars: Republic Commando returns in 2021 with a great port from a developer who has shown that Star Wars ports are great and gives us an old-school game, which at the time was one of the best titles we had of the franchise and that we expanded the lore of the Clone Wars when the content of that time was very little for fans of the galactic saga. With a reduced price, you can enjoy a few hours of a game with a great story, a good gameplay with touches of strategy and the priceless atmosphere of Star Wars.

The Switch port of Republic Commando is easily the worst version I’ve ever played, with subpar visuals and a framerate that makes the OG Xbox version feel like it’s running on an RTX 3080 in comparison. That being said, even an underwhelming build of Republic Commando is still highly enjoyable, being one of the grittiest and most unique Star Wars games ever made.
Republic Commando's brilliant gameplay and compelling story more than make up for the dated visuals, although the Switch version might not be the definitive experience.
