Critic Reviews for Don Bradman Cricket 14

Don Bradman Cricket 14 for PC is the most enjoyable and fully-featured cricket game ever made.

Don Bradman Cricket is an incredibly competent cricket simulation game. With a slew of modes, countless customisation options, and numerous clever design choices, it provides an accurate and fun digital version of the popular sport. Shoddy menus, poorly implemented tutorials, and an overall lack of visual and audio polish certainly diminish the experience, but not enough to stop this sporting sojourn from being worth taking out for a spin.

Don Bradman 14 on the new generation consoles is a solid upgrade wthout changing anything that makes the game a great cricketing title.

Don Bradman Cricket 14 is one of the best cricket games to come along in a long while. A solid title, it'll keep the hardcore happy, but it might prove too complicated for the casual player.

[A]side from difficulty finding a quick match, and the fact that it's a year old game that looks a lot older as it's being sold at full price, Don Bradman Cricket offers plenty for those that don't have the 2014 version.

Don Bradman Cricket isn't cheap. In fact it's a lot more expensive than most games at retail on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One . . . But if you don't own a PC or missed out on it when it hit the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, and can stomach the cost of admission, you'll be treated to the finest cricket game ever.

As a cricket nut, Don Bradman Cricket is the definitive version of the finest cricket game ever produced. It's also quite possibly the most limited "HD Remaster" yet produced for the console, but Big Ant has now cut its teeth on next-gen development, and I can't wait to see a proper sequel down the track to a game that I have spent more time playing over the past year than any other.

But is it the best cricket game ever made? The way in which it simulates the battle between bowler and batsman as well as all of the other nice little touches it provides, means that it knocks the opposition for six.
