Critic Reviews for PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls
Despite a few technical issues, Paw Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls nails its target audience without ever feeling patronising or asinine, as children’s games have a tendency to do.
Just like its predecessor, Paw Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls is not a game for us grumpy adults, but that doesn’t mean we should overlook its issues. Especially when the previous Paw Patrol game, released less than a year ago, looked and felt more polished as a comparison.
Paw Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls is another enjoyable game in the Paw Patrol universe for all ages. There are however some niggling issues such as long load times on Xbox One and missing interaction icons in main missions.
Overall, for my first time playing a game specifically aimed at children, I had a great time playing PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls with my daughter. It’s the first game that has truly captivated her and she could pick up and play herself. She would never fully complete it or find all of the collectables without my help, but as she grows older the game will at least help teach her the mechanics that she will need for more complex games. There is a good amount of variety within each mission and a fun selection of mini-games to keep my daughter wanting to keep coming back to play the game. The PAW Patrol team is most certainly ‘on a roll’ and it’s well worth visiting Adventure City to enjoy this child-friendly game.
The PAW Patrol movie videogame is a very linear game that doesn't manage to tell a coherent story. The levels are not only totally simple but also nearly exactly the same. You could say this game is boring but it's also full of technical hiccups. We really cannot recommend it.

Dog Patrol: City of Adventures calls is not only a game for underage fans of the series, it is a title from which our children can easily start their adventure with electronic entertainment. It is a pity that the gameplay itself is so little different from what we can experience in previous installments.
