At first I felt like Wonhon was a revenge fantasy built on the outrage of the atrocities committed during the Korean War (a time when Japan annexed Korea and worked to entirely wipe out their culture and history), but it's not.
Wonhon A Vengeful Spirit has an interesting idea, and it is both a wish for personal resurrection after death and revenge, but unfortunately the constructive team has implemented this idea in the worst feasible way and has different problems with storytelling and characterization.

Wonhon certainly offers an interesting take on paranormal stealth action, but the game features repetitive—and, after a while, boring—locations. I did appreciate, however, that the game highlights important social issues related to the cruelty of war. What I enjoyed most was taking out the enemies. So if you like stealth games, you should definitely give Wonhon a try.
