Reverie Knights Tactics Reviews
Overall though, a complete run with side quests and puzzles should run about ten or so hours showing you how one set of decisions pans out before going back in for the other set. Hosting a solid combat system and visual presentation followed by a good musical track, I look forward to seeing what comes next from 40 Giants Entertainment as I don’t think they are quite done yet with Reverie Knights Tactics.
Reverie Knights Tactics is a beautiful looking Tactical Role-Playing Game experience with a structure that is a bit too linear.
A turn-based strategy game with remarkably solid, pretty and entertaining foundations, Reverie Knights Tactics is a good if unspectacular entry into the genre. Its gameplay and design could have benefitted from additional depth, but this compact package offers a pleasantly enjoyable romp with even more hope for future entries. Completely usurp other tactics games it likely won’t, but there’s enough here to have you entering your own reverie in this tale.
Reverie Knights Tactics is a simple tactical RPG, one with a lot of potential that’s never quite explored as much as it perhaps should be. Despite its story flaws and simple battle tactics, this is still a fun game to play. With no microtransactions, predatory lootboxes or noteworthy bugs at launch, this is not a bad title to splash £20 on.
Reverie Knights Tactics gets 2022 off to a wonderful start. Between its fun dialogue, great gameplay, and stunning visuals, this is a game that’s not to be missed. If this is what 40 Giants serves up with their first title, the future looks bright indeed.
