THE ORIGIN: BLIND MAID
Critic Reviews for THE ORIGIN: BLIND MAID
The Origin: Blind Maid is further proof that having great ideas for a game is just 50% of what makes it a banger. If you can’t deliver on your vision, all you’ll have to offer is a disappoint game that will reek of “what could have been”. The ideas are there, the ambition is laudable, but the execution left much to be desired.
The Origin: Blind Maid presents us a survival horror in which the constant is human misery as well as the redemption or damnation of the soul, aspects that may remind us somewhat of the forgotten Silent Hill saga. The origin allows us to mix past and present, tradition and current affairs, in a compendium in which the bad and selfish decisions that our protagonist made are explained in detail, leaving in our hands the final decision to condemn him or save him, a truly delicious and that I personally loved.
