TombStar Reviews
The basics of TombStar are well done, with nicely-frantic action that keeps the bullets flowing at a good pace.
Pick up Tombstar if you're looking for a time-killer that will challenge you and offer a little catharsis, but don't go in expecting big things.
TombStar looks and feels a lot like other top-down, twin-stick shooters. But I feel it also has its own uniqueness in the setting and lore that gives it enough of a bump to make it competitive with others like Enter the Gungeon or even Hades
TombStar focuses on the basics to create a reasonable action roguelike adventure. The biggest highlight is the firefights, which have intense moments and a good challenge. Also, the introduction of new features is constant because of a lot of unlockable content. However, the game lacks personality, variety of situations and unique mechanics, which makes the runs repetitive over time. In the end, TombStar is fun, but not very memorable.
