Falling Out sadly falls under that underwhelming "okay" category of games that thousands of indies belong to. It's a nice rogue-lite exploration/platformer that can be played by two (in fact, it is fun only when played by two), but despite it having no real flaws to talk about, there's nothing about it that stands out either. It's… okay.

If you fancy something fun, co-operative, charming, but not entirely relaxing to sink your teeth into, Falling Out is available on pretty much every platform going and is really enjoyable in short, medium and even extended blasts.

Admittedly, it's unfair to constantly measure Falling Out against my all-time favorite game—no competitor could possibly win that contest. Nevertheless, the similarities in inspiration and the differences in core design are too pronounced for the final product to truly win me over.
