Anomaly Collapse is an interesting game, but one I’d maybe recommend waiting on a few patches for to see if certain issues can be ironed out. Despite the cute characters, it’s not for the faint of heart, and it certainly doesn’t do the best job of onboarding new players.

In conclusion, I can only add that Anomaly Collapse is a wonderful showcase of creativity in the strategy genre. With its innovative battlefield design, adorable furry creatures, engaging story, and charming aesthetics, it definitely stands out among other similar titles. For my part, I can say that RocketPunch Games has successfully managed to combine tactical depth with lighthearted whimsy, offering both veterans and newcomers to the world of strategy games a refreshing new way to enjoy this genre. So whether you’re a strategy enthusiast or just looking for some charming, cute fun, Anomaly Collapse is the right choice for you, offering countless hours of interactive entertainment.

Anomaly Collapse brings good ideas to turn-based tactical combat by using different positioning components in a unidimensional grid. Even though, at times, battles can be confusing due to visual pollution, there's an interesting idea here that could be improved upon in future games from the developer. The roguelike elements complement the adventure well, bringing various items that change the combat dynamics in a significant way, even if not in an innovative way. The absence of an impactful story and the generic backgrounds make it less attractive, with the combat as the only element that stands out effectively. If the lack of a Portuguese localization isn't an issue, I think the qualities justify tactical combat fans to keep an eye on it.
