As a fan of the series, I find it really hard to express my feelings about this game. I was excited yet also nervous about Deck Nine handling a new game centered around Max Caulfield, as I really didn't care for Before the Storm and I found True Colors to
“No puedo dejar que pase de nuevo”
Life is Strange: Double Exposure trae de vuelta a Max Caulfield, esta vez para resolver el misterio de la muerte de su mejor amiga. Deck Nine toma elementos de los cómics, secuela de Life is Strange (2015), y los integra en su historia, logrando
Don't listen to the haters, this is a worthy part of the Life is Strange series.
It's a narrative game where your choices don't matter. They're did only one ending and the most impactful choice that you can do was whether Chloe was alive or not. The rest of the choices was useless. A lot of useless characters. It's a terrible game. And the worst Life
As a stand alone game is a nonsensical story with no ending, and no solving of the plots it opens.
As a sequel is an aberration, that miss characterizes Max.
The Chloe treatment felt like an insult, but it is just one of the many problems of the game
This is a cash grab, not a fully thought out game. Don't waste your money. They're only interested in building a Marvel franchise and not anything relatable. Trash game I wish I could erase from my memory.
very buggy & hard to navigate due to the infinite loading problem. a very beautiful game with an okay story but literally cant finish it until the loading problem is fixed
disrespectfull towards the original game, bringing Max just to sell more copy. Pros: graphics, voice acting Cons: story, coherence with original game
In a choice based game, your choices should matter. Life is Strange Double Exposure makes a hard statement about this as it invalidates your choice in it's prequel first thing if you picked one of the two available endings. After that, the only choices that matter are the romance options.
Absolutely mediocre game. It is almost completely different from the first game (of which, however, it pretends to be a direct sequel), boring, absolutely useless choices on the plot, repetitive (opposite choices develop the following scene in the exact same way), an ending without logic which the player does not
This installment only delivers on the technical side and those things that one might superficially consider that make a LiS like music and pretty scenery, after that it's a double disappointment, it doesn't work either as a direct sequel to the first game or as a standalone title.
The mystery plot, visuals and gameplay is amazing. However the ending is rushed and half baked while the characters are shells with basic characteristics and simple filler to progress the plot with no background or fleshed out qualities.
After completing this game, I was left with more than a conflicting disbelief knowing this is where the franchise is going. Considering I have been a part of this LIS community since 2015. I'm concerned this is what Decknine would call a worthy sequel with heavy decisions influenced by player
The creators of this game did not understand the essence of Lis. What used to be a character driven story with heavy themes, a beautiful atmosphere, unique artistic qualities that were tied to the plot and game mechanic of the story, AND compelling murder mystery elements, has been turned into
Let me clarify that my intention is not to review bomb. I understand this score may be unfair, but I personally really, really disliked this game. This is not about the Max/Chloe situation either. I truly felt this game was soulless- the pacing was messy, the plot was all over
The relationship between Max and Chloe was a trailblazing one in the gaming landscape. When I heard that Max was returning I assumed Chloe would make and appearance as well, specially since the devs for the game claimed to have respected both endings of the original LiS.
What they actually did,
This story is just plain awful. The plot basically recycles the original Life is Strange, but without understanding why it worked in the first place. There’s no message here; it doesn’t have anything meaningful to say. While Life is Strange 1 and 2 dealt with themes like family, friendship, love,
