Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports Reviews
At the end of the day, I had a fun time with Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports. Sure it is a bit janky, its progression for unlocking new content is odd, and the lack of online multiplayer is a bit of a stinger. Yet, its simple arcade recreations of popular sports brings me back the simple days of mascot sports games of old, and it brought me a good couple hours of Looney Tunes-themed fun with my partner as well.
This isn’t a game devoid of issues. The loading times are a bit rough, and, as previously mentioned, football and basketball feature some confusing controls. That doesn’t make Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports any less entertaining. I never thought I’d enjoy this game so much, but it simply nails where it needs to. It’s a pretty charming collection of really fun sports titles, with neat visuals, intuitive controls, and a lot of content. It’s an ACME-sponsored product you can actually trust.
Overall, Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports lacks game modes and its biggest issue is there is no option to play online. So, if you don’t have anyone to play with locally you are stuck competing against CPUs and the fun for that can only last so long.
