Overall, Just Dance 2025 Edition meets expectations. While it doesn’t offer anything particularly groundbreaking, it’s a fun party game that will also get you sweating if you’re looking for a good workout.
Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem is a fun game, but the fun will sadly end faster than you think. It only includes Career, Boss, Stunt, and Destruction Modes, with the game being more of a solo experience but also offering split-screen multiplayer. It’s not worth its launch price, and you’d be better off waiting for a sale in the future.
Overall, Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sports lacks game modes and its biggest issue is there is no option to play online. So, if you don’t have anyone to play with locally you are stuck competing against CPUs and the fun for that can only last so long.
Overall, Crossy Road Castle can be a very addicting game as you’ll want to beat your latest score constantly. The idea of not knowing what will come through the next door is one of the more thrilling aspects of the game. The best way to play this game, in my opinion, is to play Solo. If you’re looking for something new to play on a console, Crossy Road Castle should be on your list.
Monster Jam Showdown is what fans of the live-event motorsport have been craving for. Everything about this game properly showcases what monster trucks are all about. Some of its downsides are the repetitive content and lack of variety in environments. This is a great start for Monster Jam.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit is an excellent retro-horror experience perfect for those unfamiliar with the franchise, while dedicated FNAF fans will also enjoy Mega Cat Studios’ creation. While it’s a short game, there’s plenty of replayability, and its $20 price tag is a steal
Senua's Saga: Hellblade II emerges as a visual and storytelling masterpiece, and is unquestionably the best-looking game I've witnessed on Xbox Series X since its launch.
Princess Peach Showtime! is a quick experience that is aimed towards newcomers but don’t let that distract you from the stunning visuals and new friends you meet along the way to saving the Sparkle Theater.
Madden NFL 24 is the best-looking game in the series with thrilling gameplay, but what holds it back is off the field. There seems to be something missing in this version of Madden as far as the game modes it has to offer. Does it make it to the Super Bowl? I’m not so sure about that.
If you are someone looking for a brand new game to play, I wouldn’t recommend this game as it does have a lot of negatives compared to positives.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an exceptional game that offers countless hours of gameplay, featuring a vast selection of characters and courses to choose from, thanks to its Booster Course Pass DLC. The only feature that seems to be lacking in this game is the two-person kart from Mario Kart: Double Dash. Whatever the future holds for the series, it will have a hard time surpassing the entertainment value and quality of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has enjoyable gameplay for a fighting game and addresses the issues of its predecessor. It is a worthwhile addition to the fighting game genre. We would have preferred if all characters from the first game were included in the sequel, as it ended quickly.
Alien Hominid Invasion is a great sequel to the original providing what feels like unlimited customization, and constant action, but the only thing that holds it back is the lack of variety in levels and how difficult the game can get. Overall, The Behemoth created another classic game providing hours of gameplay and could be considered one of the best co-op games of the year.
It’s not worth the money, let’s face the facts, The Grinch: Christmas Adventures is no holiday smash. Looking for a festive platformer? This is a good option, but be warned it lacks replayability and variety in audio, gameplay, and level design.
Bus Simulator 21 provides a relaxing and simplistic experience of being a regular bus driver with the goal of bringing passengers to their desired destination. It’s honestly one of the better Simulator games out there today even two years after its release providing hours of content to play through.
The Crew Motorfest is by far the best in the series taking place in a beautiful, but small location. The racing game is better than average, but it still has some room for improvement. At times it feels like the game tries to do too much providing an overwhelming experience and for a racing game it feels like there is too much dialogue when participating in playlist events.
NASCAR Arcade Rush isn’t necessarily the game fans of the genre asked for and its lack of content doesn’t show promising longevity.
Party Animals is a fantastic casual party game that offers a fun gameplay experience providing a wide variety of game modes, maps, and customization for all players to enjoy.
Overall, Super Catboy is a fun and engaging 90s 16-bit platformer that allows you to be the badass cat you’ve always wanted to be. At times the game can become repetitive making you want to take breaks in between, but for its price at $9.99 on Steam it’s worth the shot for anyone into 2D platformers.
Overall, Moving Out 2 is an extremely fun co-op game to play with friends and family. The game proves to be better than an Overcooked because there’s less rage involved and more enjoyment. For its price I think you get your money’s worth with the content Moving Out 2 has to offer.
