In the end , We're fairly torn because we genuinely enjoy the guns and gunplay this year, but the maps and dodgy spawns really hinder the overall experience. Unfortunately, this year, like many others, delivers an average Call of Duty multiplayer experience, at least so far at launch , but the DMZ mode does make up for some of this. We hope Infinity Ward fixes many of these issues quickly, brings back some classic maps that better suit this year's playstyle, and introduces new maps that can eventually become fan favourites. Don't even get us started on skill-based matchmaking. That has become a lost cause for COD fans, with every game feeling like we're competing for a million-dollar prize pool. The campaign earns a strong 9/10 from us. Spoilers aside, there were a few crucial moments we felt were somewhat abrupt, and the mini-boss fights came across as more of a gimmick. Multiplayer in its current state earns an average 7/10 from us. Collectively, we felt the beta was stronger than the actual multiplayer release, and that's honestly quite shocking to think about. DMZ Earns a soild 9/10 , as mentiond We genuinely feel DMZ offers a more rewarding multiplayer experience, especially for those of us who enjoy objective-based gameplay, tactical encounters, and having a reason to return for another deployment. Warzone might still attract the larger audience, but DMZ is the experience we'd rather spend our time with.
This is RuneScape at its finest. A whole lot of work in order to become the best at the game. We should not be surprised by this and that's what makes this game so good.
Overall, Bus Simulator 27 has the potential to be a really big hit. What holds it back is the buggy world we drive in. The content within is great, but somehow the game still feels incomplete.
With a new broadcast package and the most authentic atmosphere the series has to offer, EA Sports NHL 27 feels much of the same. There are minor gameplay enhancements that make the game a little more enjoyable. For the price, we'd suggest waiting for a sale down the road.
Halo: Campaign Evolved is the modern version of Combat Evolved we all have been waiting for. Put the issues aside, it's a great remake that enhances the experience while not changing what made Halo so great to begin with.
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition is no question a top tier RPG and we knew that before going into this. The Switch 2 Edition enhances the quality of your experience with a smooth 60 frames per second with up to 4K resolution supported. The little additional content is the cherry on top, adding even more fun without taking away from what makes the game special.
NBA The Run is just a fun arcade basketball game and we've been itching for a new one for a while. There's room for improvement for sure and the developer is already looking into adding more modes.
Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is a unique puzzle-platformer that is definitely the most fun a Yoshi game has been in a while. It has a simple story to follow and there's plenty of room for replayability depending how much exploring you want to do. What I love the most is that you aren't forced to explore everything before completing the story.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is one of the best that TT Games has put out to date. This sets the standard of what LEGO games should be. Funny, engaging story, simplified combat, and plenty of references are to be found in this game.

Kiln is a pottery party brawler that is filled with humor and chaotic gameplay. Never in my life did I think that a pottery party brawler would be so much fun. This is the type of game we'd see on Xbox 360, and it's great that Double Fine brought this style of game to life. What holds it back from being even better is the lack of other modes and better maps. There are no complaints about its customization options and its chaotic gameplay.
MOUSE: P.I. for Hire excels in gameplay as a smooth first-person shooter. It's rare to see indie games feature such great gameplay, and this is an early contender for Indie Game of the Year.
Super Meat Boy comes as advertised. A challenging 3D Platformer that you may want to throw your controller at a wall at times, but comes with a satisfying feeling in the end. To say it's not satisfying to complete levels or even boss fights is a crazy statement.

Aces at the time was the king of the series, but Fever is by far the well-rounded Mario Tennis title, perfect for all players. While EA Sports NHL 26 successfully captures the realistic elements of the sport, there is still room for improvement. The game lacks arcade-style modes, and the overall gameplay feels monotonous. At times, it seems that the franchise gets overshadowed by other EA Sports series. NHL 26 has the potential to be even better, but aside from two improved game modes and minor gameplay adjustments, it resembles its predecessor.
