Ghost of Yotei is a superb sequel that has confidently drawn its own path while paying respects to its predecessor. It takes a strong frame from Tsushima and enhances it with a more dynamic combat system, a much more engaging narrative structure, and a world that is simply delightful to
One of the most beautiful open worlds I have ever seen and I just love riding around the fields of ghost of yotei, the story is a basic revenge story but it is very well done, the combat is amazing and It is nothing more satisfying than doing a perfect
Ghost of Yotei looks amazing, plays smooth, and every fight feels like it’s got weight. The map is huge and alive, every area got that perfect detail that makes you stop just to look around. Combat feels clean, fast, satisfying — they nailed that part.
But story wise, I just didn’t
I enjoyed the game but it didn’t hit as much as Ghost of Tsushima.
Graphics are great on the PS5 Pro sure, but combat is worse in my opinion and the storyline is definitely weaker.
It otherwise plays identically to the first instalment when it comes to the open world design.
It’s
Very good. Ghosts return, gameplay improvements on 90% of the elements except infiltration. No wokism and astu is badass. Violently dark and demanding, finally an open world sony without 10 miles of interest. Big plus for bonuses, all scripted!!
Solid follow-up to the first game with improved combat, open world discovery and graphics. Not a revolutionary step but does improve in every way over the first game. I found the open world discovery and side plot exploration more organic and the main story more engaging. The
A great sequel. Not a carbon copy but still could use more variation. Enjoying the game. Combination of chill exploration and good combat.
The game is beautiful. The main character is interesting and develops well. The side characters and side quests are fun. The story however was going excellent until the kitsune plot twist which was so bad I almost couldn't finish the game. I truly have no idea what the developers were
This feels like a DLC more than it does a sequal. The graphics are good, and facial animations are a step up but everything else is really not up to par.
The story is predictable and is something you have seen a hundread times before. The open-world is not too
Is it bad to expect a great game and get a game that meets those expectations? Ghost of Yotei doesnt exceed what you'd expect from a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, it is safe, but it's also very well made, and while the story lacks some of the internal struggle
I have played this game for 50 hours now and i am still not bored of it. I though this game was beautiful, then I unlocked chapter 2 and seeing all those pink Sakura blossoms blew my mind. The game has a good story to tell and an excellent
Everything good about Tsushima, none of the boring stuff I hated.
Gorgeous and expansive world, excellent combat, okay story (I prefer the first). Overall, more of what made Tsushima amazing.
A very good continuation of the groundwork laid by the first game. Combat is still flashy and satisfying. Changing weapons instead of stances is functionally the same, but does feel different and adds nice variety. Open world feels much more alive and lived in. Some QOL changes that are appreciated.
Most beautiful Open World I've ever seen, so much fun to play
It’s just got it all - from the cinematic story-telling, captivating and lethal combat system, music is on point, characters are interesting and played well… I really have nothing bad to say about this game and I’m about 30 hours in!
