Amazing action and exploration. Throwback gameboy color aesthetic. I loved the challenging boss battles and secrets.

Very ugly graphics; I'd hoped they're grow on me, but they just didn't. The gameplay is...fine? It's definitely similar to a lot of 2D/GBA games, but it was very crude and unremarkable as a result. Not sure this retro stuff is hitting for me anymore.

What a gorgeous game that Yacht Club has put together, and I’m saying that as someone who has never experienced the golden era of pixel art. The gameplay being fun and challenging really is the cherry on the cake. I had a blast playing through Mina the Hollower. The difficulty

-- Gameplay & Mechanical Progression Mina the Hollower positions itself as a demanding souls-like experience, built upon a high but fundamentally fair difficulty curve. For players seeking a more tailored experience, the inclusion of fully optional accessibility modifiers is a welcome addition, allowing for either an easier journey or an even

I'm only 8 hours in, but I feel the need to get this review out there so that more people play this game... it is a BANGER. Clearly Souls and Zelda inspired, but makes a retro genre feel wholly modern. You do not need nostalgia for NES or
