Heart of the Forest Reviews
Heart of the Forest is an evening's worth of cinema with the illusion of choice, where the ending is determined just a few minutes before the credits roll.

For me, Heart of the Forest is a fun yet haunting horror experience that blends a good atmosphere with brilliant acting and very minimal jump scares to create an experience that will stay with you long after playing it. There are plenty of choices to make within the game, each with its own consequences that pay off towards the end of the game, never leaving you questioning what a choice was for.
As a debut FMV title, Trapped Predator has done a great job of following in the wake of publisher Wales Interactive. The tale is engaging with plenty of twists, turns, and reasons to replay. We’d have liked a few more choices, more frequently to make along the way and we hope that whatever they bring us next can fine tune what is already a solid base in their production and story telling.
Heart of the Forest is another banger brought to you by Wales Interactive. The game features a great story where you see characters descending into madness. The acting is enjoyable; not too cringe or over the top. The setting and ambiance is top notch and can be enhanced with headphones. While you do get used to the clipping post-conversational choices, the flickering becomes annoying towards the latter end of the game. That being said, Heart of the Forest remains a great experience with a lot replay value. Whether you’re a fan of the genre or looking to dive into, this is a great one. Don’t miss it.
