Omen is a fun little game that makes space exploration intense, immersive, but also extremely enjoyable.
Omen is frustrating because a good game is clearly buried somewhere inside it. The ingredients are there. The concept is interesting, the setting has potential, and the combination of extraction, progression and base building could have produced something genuinely distinctive. But playing Omen left us wanting more rather than making us want to keep going.
Omen delivers solid and varied gameplay, offering plenty of content to discover. However, its basic story, repetitive missions, and several quality-of-life issues ultimately limit the experience, weakening both immersion and overall enjoyment despite its promising gameplay foundation.
