Shattered Skies Reviews
Shattered Skies is simply another half-baked multiplayer sandbox that has been thrown together with no real identity. It completely ignores a potentially interesting premise in order to facilitate an endless grind for loot. The lack of structure in multiplayer sandbox survival games is a staple of the genre, however, in most of these games, the mechanics and environment are designed to facilitate player generated purpose and/or narrative.
This survival has a solid base and an interesting concept which differ from the zombie survivals that we are used to. However, there are a lot of technical issues that have a negative impact on the gameplay, to the point of making it unplayable.

While offering a set of promises that would make any trigger-happy PVP addict excited, Shattered Skies fails to deliver a reason to keep coming back. While the concept sounds fun, the execution thus far has yielded a relatively lifeless world with a by-now stagnating population. Time will tell if the developers can shape their game into something more engaging post-launch.
Shattered Skies commits a crime much worse than simply being a bad game; it’s dull. It’s also uninteresting, static, and barren.
An average game that does what it does well, however a price tag way too high, low populated servers and annoying enemies means I can not in good conscience recommend this to anyone. Avoid this game!
