LEGO City: Undercover Reviews
LEGO City Undercover is a solid LEGO game that does something unique and different for a series that typically just uses existing franchises for stories.
Hilarious and entertaining, LEGO City Undercover will forever remain among my favourite LEGO games. Chase McCain’s return to the scene of the crime is a welcome one, but, as an inadvertent downside, it also shows how far the LEGO series has progressed in the last few years. Its crime-ridden world is still an absolute blast to be a part of, however, and I hope that we’ll have another chance to chase down criminals in the future.
LEGO City Undercover is an action-packed platformer filled to the brim with secrets and charm. Whilst the series as a whole has evolved - negating how impressive this was back in 2013 - you'll still find plenty to enjoy on its own merit.
Despite not having any licence, this Lego game has many funny references to well known movies. The gameplay is more on the casual side and it will keep you occupied for about 20 hours. Technical aspects of the game could be better, but they don't ruin the game by any means.
