Vanquish is a game without a deep story, with perfect gameplay and the possibility to mess around. It is a very hilarious port with tons of action and some challenges that will make you sweat. The minibosses are really hilarious and even on normal difficulty they present a challenge. Unfortunately the game is very short and straightforward. I recommend buying it on sale for about under 10€, for the price it is a great piece.

Vanquish is a hack&slash game divided into 5 acts. The game will have a campaign about 4-5 hours. If you don't play the original game, this is a good opportunity to do it.

Vanquish remains an absolute blast to play. Fans of old-school action games and flashy third-person shooters should definitely give it a shot.

Fans of the original may love to stroll down memory lane again. You might not show up for the story, but you’ll at least stay for the gameplay. The high-octane feel of the ARS is still a blast to enjoy and it makes for a great part of the 10th anniversary bundle with Bayonetta.

While Vanquish suffers under a bad story, its time-stopping mechanics boost it up to a great game.

Vanquish barely squeaks by as a game you can shut your brain off and enjoy the action. I do hope that if a sequel does rear its head, PlatinumGames of 2017 will create something more memorable than the PlatinumGames of 2010 did with Vanquish.

Vanquish is a fun, dumb game that feels good to play when you get into a zone. If you're a fan of Escape From New York or other B-grade action films, Vanquish will appeal to you as well. While I wish that Vanquish would let me fully indulge in the many joys the game has to offer, budget and time added roadblocks to the experience. For 20 dollars, I can certainly recommend this to new players or true fans of the original. But if you didn't like Vanquish the first go-around, there's not a lot here other than a prettier looking version of the same game from the previous generation consoles.
