Critic Reviews for Drop It: Block Paradise!

Drop it: Block Paradise may not be a monumental masterpiece but it gets the gig right: its amount of levels and simple gameplay mechanics make it enjoyable and its level editor and online sharing will keep it fresh for a long time. Where it doesn't keep up is when it comes to its maladjusted difficulty level and feeling of repetitiveness, which can alienate some players.

Drop It: Block Paradise is a fun puzzler for all ages, where players of all skill levels will get a chance to complete all levels after some trial and error. The game is very colorful, which is always a good thing in this day and age when so many games are gray and brown! If you're a fan of puzzle game and love to create your own puzzles, then I highly recommend you run to download Drop It: Block Paradise!

What you see is what you get, but as a fitting end to the Wii U eShop reviews, I feel Block Paradise is a good afternoon of puzzling action regardless of where you play it, and definitely worth spending that last bit of eShop cash.

Don’t be fooled by the simple graphics, shapes, and “mobile game-esque” presentation. Drop It: Block Paradise has some good ideas, clever design, many achievements to collect, and a fun level editor. All it needs is some polishing with the controls across various inputs because the game is really tailor-made for all ages. I also found the game to perform a bit sluggishly on low-spec computers, which is a bit surprising given the graphics. However, the sheer number of levels is enough for me to give Drop It: Block Paradise the green thumb of approval.
