Patapon Remastered Reviews
If you’re a fan of rhythm games, you should definitely check it out just for its novelty. Even with the game’s flaws, there is still a classic rhythm experience with a bunch of eyeball creatures waiting to be experienced.
Overall, Patapon is a game that deserves its second chance and HD treatment. It’s a game with a unique concept, while managing to pull it off. It’s both a great RPG and rhythm game. While this entry shows it’s initial design flaws, especially with teaching its mechanics, it’s still a game worth playing. It doesn’t hurt too that those little patapon creatures are so cute with their dancing and musical chants.
Patapon Remastered is let down by an input lag issue and some low resolution assets ruining an otherwise fantastic game.
Patapon Remastered offers relatively clever gameplay, but sometimes it's a really frustrating experience. And you definitely won't appreciate very poorly made cutscenes and many crashes. It's not a bad game, but the remaster is average.

Patapon Remastered is a great and addicting gameplay experience. The rewarding boss fights make up for some of the weaker levels and the sound and visuals fully cement Patapon as a great remaster. However, the bad first impression, occasional difficulty spike and lack of instructions hold it back from being outstanding.
