Neon Drive is a slick retro-futuristic arcade game that will make your brain melt. You've been warned.  From beautiful cityscapes and ocean roads to exploding enemy spaceships, Neon Drive has it all. It's inspired by the arcade games of the 80's, but set against a futuristic backdrop of glowing cyber-grid, all in silky-smooth graphics. Neon Drive brings you 7 amazing levels, adding up to hours of enjoyment. Each level features multiple twists and perspective changes, keeping you on your toes (err, wheels) throughout the gameplay.  Neon Drive will put your mad dodging skills to a real test, mercilessly pushing the limits of your reaction time and short-term memory to avoid obstacles and dead-ends. Seriously, this game is wicked; just when you think you've got the hang of it, it turns the table on you.  Each level of the game comes with a custom-made retro music track, perfectly tuned and in sync with the roadblocks and your enemies. This allows you to just follow the beat, unplug, and zen out. Watch the landscape seamlessly morph from one scene to the next, in a ballet of colors and shapes, and let your inner driver take the wheel. You've got this.

Boring small game without much content. Great design and music isn't enough to make up for bland gameplay from mobile devices.

Neon Drive is a rhythm game extremely hard with a cyberpunk atmosphere. There are only 8 stages, but all varied and with unique challenges. The higher difficulty levels will make you throw the controller away, as well as the Endurance mode. It is not a game for everyone.

Neon Drive is one of the best music rhythm games on the PS4 because it does the unexpected.

Not to sound overly negative, it has to be said that Neon Drive is a title with a lot of promise, but unfortunately one which has been extinguished with the use of questionable design choices, and unnecessary force-fed variety. In-fact, Neon Drive is a lot like the new-wave/punk rock Scottish band The Rezillos. It’s loud, vibrant, and colourful, but only a very small portion of it holds any substance. And many will realise that such is the fact in an instant, and will forget about Neon Drive, just like the world has forgotten about The Rezillos. But just like the band, Neon Drive may come back one day, during a sale, and will sell out its content for pennies to the masses who will only pick it up, simply because it is cheap.
